You what? :D

Sorry - you'll have to explain that a little more :D

Adding links into search results

Hiya all you clever people :) Hoping you'll be able to assist me - I'm wanting to essentially "inject" some results into my phpbb search results. Basically, I have two forums running on the same server and it'd be great to search those threads within the usual phpBB search function on my main forum,...

Re: Not copying files properly

Typically why you would be getting the errors would be due to the fact that the directory permissions are incorrect, and as you discovered, chmod-ing the directories to 777 usually fixes things. Yeah, I would definitely say it is something permission based. I can tell you the following: /store/mods...

Not copying files properly

I'm having some issues running Automod on the latest phpBB (3.07-PL1). First off, when I upload a mod using Automod I get install errors: The directory ./../store/mods/hilit_from_search_engine/_edited could not be created (as an example - this happens with all mods) I've discovered that doing a chmo...

So I recently had cause to turn off the guest posting image confirmation and within half an hour I had 89 brand new spam topics :)

Just thought I'd share that little bit of interestingness. :D

Re: Need help writing ipb13-to-phpbb3 convertor (for pm conv)

You could always try for an "aftermarket" type toolkit for now until you figure out how to get it working through the converter. It's simple enough to create a bit of php to process records by sets of rows so timeouts won't really be a problem. I think quite a few folks are looking for a way to conv...

Re: vB 3.x convertor

There's work underway to get the converter up to scratch and perfect. Shouldn't be too long now. As for your error, I'm guessing you tried to run the converter - hit an error and tried to run it again. By then the converter had already made the salt column. Run the initial couple steps, delete the s...

Re: vB 3.6.x -> phpBB 3.0 After Conversion Toolkit

Which fix for attachments? The converter does manage to import attachments properly.

Sorry I've been so scarce, many things intruding on my fun :) It's weird how work just don't seem to understand that they come second right? :D

Re: Evil Quick Reply

I found when using a Subsilver 2 based skin that the template edits hadn't carried through for some reason (in viewtopic_body.html). So I edited it via the phpBB template editor and it worked perfectly :) Sorted.

Re: Evil Quick Reply

I've managed to get seriously confused about this :) Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I've tested this out on my local forum (exact replica of online forum) and it worked flawlessly. Beautifully implemented, fully Css'd quick reply. As soon as I do the same changes to my online forum, I ...

IRC style action

Hiya,

Once upon a time I had a /me action on vBulletin. I'd like to get this working again on phpBB 3.0.

Does anyone have any clue how to do this? :)
