When searching now, I'm getting "No suitable matches were found." some of the time. I will try to get more feedback as to when this seems to be happening.

Trying new version now, I'll give you some feedback tomorrow. Limiting the RAM seemed to be the trick for me, can't wait to see this version go!

I limited indexer to 50MB of RAM, and it appears to have solved the problem. My VPS only has 256.

This is what happens with my load average. It spikes pretty much hourly for about 8-10 minutes. Do you have any ideas about why this is happening? It was nothing like this before.

What about the slowdown? I made the change to the conf file, but this brings my server to its knees.

Hey, thanks for this! I'm trying it out now, and it the indexer is going crazy slowing down my 256MB VPS. Will this settle down once the board is indexed? For a 300mb database I wonder how long this would take. What about the sphinx.conf file? Should I change indexer's mem_limit to be less than the ...
