Re: [RC] Ultimate Points 1.0.2

Is it possible to create an add-on that allow administrator view everything users have done with their points? I can go in the database and check it, but it should be easier I'd think...

I wish I got the experience to write the plugin for it, but too busy with other things to learn php. :(

Re: Dynamically create forums from my web application

It is hard to help without any knowledge of the program that you're talking about. I'll just write some advice, and see if you can find out what to do from there. 1. Find out how the educational application saves the information. 2. Write a php script to retrieve that information from the educationa...

Re: [BETA] Advanced PayPal Donation MOD 1.0.B4

Neo_gis, try adapting the mod yourself for that as it is quite unlikely that Handyman will do this feature while the mod itself isn't finished and it will take a while before he is done simply because he is quite busy. It would be more efficient for you to learn php and add the adaptions yourself.

Re: Colored background messages for admins and mods

The issue is that it is not a modification made by him, nor a default feature. However, I'm sure that if someone provides instructions for the mods (not just advanced, also other kinds of quick reply as not everyone uses the same quick reply, which is exactly the main issue as well) then Théonaute p...

Re: Posting template

On that screen, click on the SQL tab and enter the SQL code in the modx file. Then press submit (or whatever is there) and you're done.

Re: Colored background messages for admins and mods

I believe that you misplaced the code for it then. Double-check the edits you have done. The checkbox is supposed to be in the block with "Disable BBCode" and such. Ensure that you didn't do "Add before" where it said "Add after" in the template files.

Re: Posting template

You can use BBcode (that is with [ ] ). However, the BBcode is only parsed AFTER hitting submit when filling in the form.

Make sure that "Disable BBCode" is unchecked when posting it though otherwise it won't parse the BBCode.

Re: [BETA] Colored link when new post

@Autinhyeu: You didn't do the edits to the style files of your template that you're using. The edits default to only prosilver, and you have to edit your current style as well to reflect the updates. Since it seems to be subsilver, find the instructions for editing subsilver styles and try to apply ...

Re: Colored background messages for admins and mods

You're welcome.

What I'd like to suggest is instead of having to look up the html code (as most admins don't know how it works) is being able to pick it from a palette. Aside of that, it is working nicely :)

Re: Colored background messages for admins and mods

You've got a few spelling mistakes in the ACP configuration section. If you enable this option, the MOD will be enabled by defaut : the checkbox in posting.php will be checked by default. You forgot the L in the first default. This is the 1.0.1 version downloaded in first post. When reading a topic,...

Re: Forum integration in ny website

You might want to alter either your site or forum auth file to use the other auth file together with the same login/sessions database.
I hope that that helps you on the way to doing it yourself. Otherwise, try looking around at other topics from those who did the same thing as you want.

Re: Basic Empty Table Style

To my knowledge, there are no styles that provide you with what you want. However, if you got enough html and php knowledge, you should be able to easily adapt phpBB3 to your needs. If you'd want to make it easy, try using an i-frame. Otherwise, try modifying the style to not load certain things (yo...

Re: I want site name at title bar but not at header

For the second part, open overall_header.html, search for header.jpg and replace it by header.gif.
For the first part, in overall_header.html look for the {SITE_NAME} token. Delete it. (It might be different, I haven't looked at those files for a while, but just search and you'll find it)

Look for something called logo or so in the folder of the style, and replace it by the logo you want.
