Re: [RC] Forum Favorites 1.0.5

Make sure you've enabled it on the module management screen if it's not showing up.

Re: [RC] Forum Favorites 1.0.5

The mod was rejected again, but I'm not modifying it. The phpBB submission system is ridiculous. I get different complaints every time, sometimes contradictory stylistic complaints that are just the whims of whoever happens to be checking it that time. Sometimes even complaints that if I changed it ...

Re: [RC] Forum Favorites 1.0.5

Version 1.0.5 is released. This version works with debug mode enabled, adds a warning message to the list page if no Categories are enabled, and adds an icon legend to the bottom of the list page. You can download it through GitHub here: http://github.com/arrakis/Forum-Favorites/downloads I've re-su...

Re: [RC] Forum Favorites 1.0.4

Quick status update: I've got the mod working with debug mode enabled locally on my machine. I think I've got all the changes checked in to the GitHub dev branch, so if you're really anxious to get the fixes you can grab it there. I'm just going to do some more testing, and then re-submit to the Mod...

Re: [RC] Forum Favorites 1.0.4

Adding the ability to edit user's favorites through the ACP is a good idea, but again I don't really have time to do it now. You can manually do it through SQL in the current version though if you really need to. Should be simple, find the rows with the user_id of the person you want to change, and ...

Re: [RC] Forum Favorites 1.0.4

I thought I already went through and added Unicode support to everything, so I'm not sure why it's not working. Although I've noticed that some browsers seem to not work great with Unicode (:cough: IE :cough:). Another possibility is the database. Make sure the columns in the MySQL table that store ...

Re: [RC] Forum Favorites 1.0.4

why a update, all runs clear, its one of the finest and nice runningst mods ever here.. Thanks! :D Needs an update because it triggers some debug messages (which you might not notice if you have debug mode off). Also some back end code stylistic things aren't up to phpBB mod team standards (althoug...

Re: [RC] Forum Favorites 1.0.4

Re: [RC] Forum Favorites 1.0.4

Thanks! Unfortunately I really don't have much time to work on it anymore. I'll get it into modDB eventually though. Would anyone else out there who is using the mod be interested in helping with development? I've been considering throwing it up on github and letting other people contribute code and...

Re: [RC] Forum Favorites 1.0.4

Hmm, I was never able to actually get the buttons to be functional in all browsers when using an <image> button instead of a <button> button, which is why I switched to using <button> in the first place. But if you got it working somehow, that's awesome. I don't think I can change the page title bec...

Re: [RC] Forum Favorites 1.0.4

Sorry, but this isn't a real priority for me. I'm happy to help when I can, but this is mod is just a little side project I wrote up on the side in my spare time. I have an actual paying job and other real life responsibilities that are slightly more important. And don't blame me for "wasting" your ...

Re: [RC] Forum Favorites 1.0.4

The dark border thing is some other IE error I can't quite figure out, it's not related. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to do any testing today, and I'm pretty busy this whole week. I'll look into it some more as soon as I get free time. Has anyone else been having trouble viewing things in IE?...

Re: [RC] Forum Favorites 1.0.4

You probably haven't updated your imageset cache properly. After making the edits to imageset.cfg, you need to refresh the cache (instructions are at the bottom of the xml file, copied below). Click on the Styles tab in the ACP. Then choose Imagesets on the left bar, and click on the Refresh action ...

Re: [RC] Forum Favorites 1.0.4

They ARE normal buttons. The problem is that Internet Explorer renders buttons completely differently (and non-standardly) not only from other browsers, but even differently between IE6 and IE7. Which is why I also need to know which version of IE you are using. I haven't gotten a chance to do testi...

Re: [RC] Forum Favorites 1.0.4

What version of IE are you using? You are using the latest version of the mod? Older versions had some IE problems, but I thought I ironed them all out with 1.0.4. I'll look into it.

Try changing the button location in the ACP and see if they show up in any of the other settings.
