i never got it to install and have triple checked all files edited, etc. i use filezilla for my ftp. now question is, does this work on a free hosting site. i test mods on a test forum before uploading and editing files onto the large used community forum. would the free hosting size be the problem ...

You have to upload umil/ folder to your root just did and still nothing? do i need to run the pt_mod_install.php? which ive tried also and get an error for download the new Umil version in the link of your error, it should work. It did the same thing with my installation I made last weeks, and work...

i can not get the install file to go through. i get the:

Please download the latest UMIL (Unified MOD Install Library) from: phpBB.com/mods/umil
which i did what was said for the umil file as far as uploading the root folder.

am i missing something here?

Will this only work for prosilver style or will it work for other styles that are prosilver based? I implemented this on an Artodia style which is as far removed from prosilver but technically prosilver as styles go and it worked fine. You may run into some issues with imageset images.
