Re: [BETA]Multiple Descriptions 1.0.3 ( further to 1.0.5)

This was a great mod. Sorry to see it was abandoned, but life gets busy and you move onto new things.

Here's version 1.0.2 for anyone that wants it. I still use it on my board and it works great.

Has anyone else developed anything similar to this?

Javascript error when clicking jumpbox in lower right corner

One of my forum members pointed out to me that he gets a javascript error every time he uses the jumpbox in the lower right-hand corner. Naturally you could avoid these messages by just turning script error notification off in IE, however he says he writes javascript for his job so he likes to leave...

Re: Bumping shadow topics to the top of the forum?

Does anyone know what coding is used to make regular posts go to the top of the forum when they get a new post? I'm thinking that if I knew that, I might be able to apply that somehow to shadow topics.

Re: [RC1] Prime Links - Classify Locals & Target Externals

I just installed this on my board after having trouble with a few other external linking mods. Works perfectly. Thanks very much for working on this!

Re: Is it possible to have one topic in more than one forum?

Bumping a shadow topic along with the actual topic would actually defeat the purpose of moving the original topic in the first place, because moving it would essentially just have created a copy. For my specific organizational idea, I think bumping the shadow topic would be perfect. I'm not saying ...

Bumping shadow topics to the top of the forum?

There is obviously code somewhere that lets regular topics move to the top of the forum when someone posts in the them. Likewise, if you have a shadow topic in a forum, when someone posts in that topic, it moves to the top of the forum that it's actually in, but the shadow link does not move. It sta...

Re: Is it possible to have one topic in more than one forum?

I am/was attempting to set up a board where there are multiple forums, however users are only able to post in one of them. What I was hoping to do is move the topics into the other forums when appropriate, separating topics by category, and leaving a link in the "Main Forum." The idea behind this is...

Re: Custom BBCodes

Is it possible that when you press the "URL" button, a box opens allowing you to type the URL and then when you OK it, another box asking you for a name of then link(like the url=URL tag) like vB does (or used to do) ?? Here you go. Someone else figured it out. http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewto...

I have Evil Quick Reply installed and it works for me in both Firefox and Safari, but I'm using a Mac.

Ooh, I figured it out. The bbnumber is 22, or at least it is for me. But I got it to work.

Re: [BETA] URL + IMG Prompt while posting (friendly bbcode)

Again, no rush on this, but when you get the chance, do you think it would be possible to make a pop-up for the added bbcode in this mod: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=70&t=695525&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=youtube+bbcode It's the video bbcode. I'm guessing you would set it up pre...

Sweet! That totally works. I was so close too, just didn't have the "else" or "null" tags added in.

Thanks a bunch.

Not trying to rush you or anything. Just seeing if I can puzzle this one out on my own or maybe someone else might have a suggestion.

Re: [BETA] URL Prompt while posting (friendly URL bbcode)

I am trying to modify the mod to make it work in a similar way for the IMG tag, but I have no clue what I'm doing and it's not turning out too well. I basically added these lines: if (bbnumber == 14) { var img = prompt('Enter the image URL' , 'http://'); bbfontstyle(bbtags[bbnumber], bbtags[bbnumber...
