Re: Extra Variable in Topics URL = Poor SEO?

Unless I am mistaken, there are multiple possible ways to use clean(er) URLs in MediaWiki; I seem to recall a couple which did not require Apache, though I might be mistaken. Its nit picky I know, but this change really upped my readabiity of the forums. I tend to browse by user then content in some cases. Having it right above the text helps my brain process things a bit better tbh

Re: prosilver pet peeves

I don’t know about you, but I was thinking, this does not look like 10px to me so I too my CSS viewer out to find out... on my screen it’s about 13 pixels, so it’s really rather largish to me. depends on several factors. For instance if you're IE default text is set to 'smaller' the original layout...

I am personally still expecting to see a Beta or RC version before the end of the year based on the current progress, but as Paul said a couple of weeks ago we can't give any guarantees of when the final release will be available yes there was. the definite was 2004, always had been the answer. :P

I have probably over 100 between what i've done myself and what i've downloaded and installed. back in the day it was almost impossible to upgrade phpBB without almost starting from scratch. now with the code change upgrade you can install almost as many mods as you want with it being fairly painles...

it's probably a better idea to ask this in mod requests since people more familiar with modding etc usually frequent there.

I don't recall ever seeing a mod like that so far but I haven't been looking for it so it may have slipped by. good luck :D

I don't see anything else really but I only look...

are you sure thats the format ? I actually manually did some as [quote bbcode-uid:="Username"] msg [/quote:bbcode_uid] the code is going to need to do a lot of strpos() and str replacement. I guess I was wondering if there was a pure SQL alternative using a stored procedure or some of the functions

ran Yabb converter. quote bbcode needs to be corrected ?

how could it be a dead end ?

grab the shadow or glow or flash or whatever and add it then modify the behavior of the button in the bbcode and change its name in the language and you're done.
