Re: Using emojis 💥

Is this a bug?

🤷‍♂
Notice how the shrug emoji has a male symbol next to it ... and I did not paste it in

Re: 3.3 upgrade successes

Changed files only → manually compare some files to put back in my mods → upload → run database update → done.

Had to tweak colours.css is all.

Re: Using emojis 💥

Did not know that, thank you! Firefox? I know there is an "Emoji Cheatsheet" add-on aka "Emoji Helper" for FF and chrome

Using emojis 💥

What is the quickest way to use emojis in 3.3 (topic text and titles)?

Is there a supported extension? 🤔

Re: CSS question

Only problem is when a new version of phpbb comes out and the stylesheet.css contain a lower number than what you are using. You have to make a note to track that file as well as colours.css

Clink on the link from the first post
I did. It will not help me quickly scan colours.css and see the changes like I can with Notepad++

You can save time with the comparison. Here you can see all the changes made to prosilver when new update comes viewtopic.php?p=15391556#p15391556
Sorry, did not find that link helpful. I must be missing something.

Re: CSS question

Hmm, okay. What's easier, purge CF cache or fiddle with version numbers in stylsheet.css?

I thought the 3.3 referred to the phpbb version, so incrementing that did not seem logical. But perhaps it is if a merely arbitrary number is being used?

No major changes were done to colours.css.
Correct ... not this time. But who knows about the future? It's a small overhead to do a file compare.

Re: CSS question

Does your stylesheet.css have this line in it (possibly with a different version number)? @import url("colours.css?v=3.2"); If you manually up the version (to v=3.3 using the above example), then re-purge the cache, then Cloudflare and your browser should recognise colours.css as being an updated v...

Could this be a Cloudfare issue?
It might be fixed by clearing your cache in Cloudflare but you shouldn't need to if the versioning is working properly.
Sorry, I should have come back to update this thread. It WAS a Cloudfare issue. Emptied caches at CF and voila.
