It's not a significant code-change---I think this is actually best set in the Administration Panel's Config: determine who sees hidden users.

It would also be good to disallow hidden users ... in both cases, that could be a non-trivial thing to code up. I haven't looked at it.

Hey, mod writers should be encouraged to have their mods up to spec with the latest version of phpBB out there. I don't really know why you're running with such an old codebase, but I imagine it has to do with heavy modifications.

I have only ever tested this with 2.0.6; anything earlier than that, you're on your own.

I'd dearly love it if netclectic, in his copious [NOT!] free time, could update this MOD.

Anymore comments on this? Especially displaying members email addresses in profiles and in memberlist. I found that going in to the Configuration screen in the Administration Panel and setting "User send email via board" to "Enabled" hides the email addresses. To remove post counts, seek: {postrow....

That is surprising, considering how little code is changed. What behavior are you seeing?

If you're willing to spend a little time inside the database, you can do this by hand, although a MOD for this would indeed be nice.

Right, and while that's certainly beneficial for PCP users, I'd probably just write a modification from the base phpBB install.

I have users that are interested in this, and I'll look into it.

If you're going to change this, it makes sense to allow a user-configurable "topics per page" as well as "posts per page".

That would be a possibility. To go that route, it'd probably be better for it to be a variable stored in the config table.

I think we could extend it further by firming up the search string and allowing either site to be searched, and then potentially the various verisons [on a site like gospelcom.net's].

But then the fun part would be letting it be user-configurable.

:scratches chin:

I'll do some thinkin'.

I think it's preposterous for me to get credit for cutting and pasting ... I think it took two minutes to assemble the mod.

Actually, no ... because it fouled one theme many users use, I had to remove it. Sorry, I didn't get a screenshot first.
