Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

@ Halfhidden I deleted the subdomain "galerie" and removed all CPG files. I created a new subdirectory on the remaining subdomain (forum) where phpBB3 is installed and finalized the bridge installation, my relative path was very easy : ../ And that did it ! :) Thanks again for your support, hope th...

Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

I'm happy to continue this by pm but on the downside it's 2am here so I need to reboot the soul. even if the install was done by a script like fantastico or maybe go daddy did it for you we can find the database an change the details. Coppermine keeps all the login data in it's directories. Fell fre...

You have a point. I suppose we started with a bridge question and ended up with a Coppermine support. Perhaps this should continue either by PM or on Coppermine?

Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

I upgraded to 1.4.18 last month. I don't see any tables with that prefix. They are all phpbb ones in the databases I have. I did look in the file, but I have no database by that name. Its been so long, I'm not sure how I set everything up. But the database has to be somewhere or else it wont work, ...

Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

What you can do is open the config.inc.php file found in the includes folder in the Coppermine gallery. In that file it will tell you the name of the database that coppermine is using. Be sure not to damage this file or your gallery will go off line. (best to download a copy through FTP and then cho...

Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

Nope should be there all Coppermine database tables start cpg_14x in your case your I can see that your tables are cpg_143 meaning that you haven't updated to the latest version 1.4.18 (you really should).
Perhaps you have the Coppermine database tables in the same database as the forum?

Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

You are correct in the way that you installed the subdomains but for some reason the Coppermine team decided not to support this kind of install. But I think you'll run into trouble if you install the Coppermine in the subdomain of the forum. You'll be running into the same problem with the relative...

Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

I'm not sure about PHPBB3 but Coppermine can be moved to a folder in your domain.... all you would need to do is correct the path in the config file to reflect the new path.

Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

Sorry I should have remembered this. take a look at: http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg1 ... port_start
It turns out that you are sailing into the unknown with subdomains. Any reason why you wanted subdomains?

Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

You would need to get the the information from the database (phpmyadmin) from the coppermine users table. The password is hashed so instead of trying to figure out what the password is, just make a new one using a hash program....like the one that can be found on here http://www.osempire.com/md5?s=...

Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

Thats the problem, when i try to run the bridge manager, it wont accept my username and password. I upgraded from phpBB2 to phpBB3. But i can still log in to coppermine itself through the phpBB2 bridge still in place. I believe that the user name and password for Coppermine are kept in the table "u...

Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

No one has had the same problem of coppermine telling you "You supplied the wrong credentials. You will have to supply the admin account data of the standalone version (usually the account you set up during Coppermine install)." Was I supposed to disable the phpBB2 bridge first? If so, how would i ...

Re: undo Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

Can anyone help. I need to undo this bridge... there nothing wrong with the bridge rather a bug somewhere in the site generally. Because the site is running live I need to be able to export the users names, passwords and emails to Coppermine as if it wasn't bridged. I know how to unbridge Coppermine...
