Missing arguments in phpBB 3.2.x for `delete_attachments_*` event listeners

According to the Event List , the delete_attachments_from_filesystem_after event should have an argument of physical . That is correct. In phpBB 3.1.x, the event is fired and I do see these arguments... phpbb-3-1.png However, In phpBB 3.2.x, the event is fired, but I do not see these arguments... ph...

Re: [RC] AWS S3

Update: I recently fixed all the issues per feedback I received in the validation denial discussion/support and submitted a new revision (1.0.2) for consideration. It works much better now and ensures you have all settings correct before enabling any of the S3 functionality. It is basically not even...

$submit = false; ??????????
What would that do? That variable doesn't even exist.

Re: How do I validate user input in the ACP?

So I'm just curious... Why is your method preferred over what I did? Don't they both achieve the same result?

Also, sorry but I didn't understand your last two sentences at all.

Re: How do I validate user input in the ACP?

Good advice! You mean so they can see all errors? Something like this... $errors = []; if (!preg_match('/[A-Z0-9]{20}/', $request->variable('s3_aws_access_key_id', ''))) { $errors[] = $user->lang('ACP_S3_AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID_INVALID', $request->variable('s3_aws_access_key_id', '')); } if (!preg_match('...

Re: How do I validate user input in the ACP?

Ok that helps. Now we're getting somewhere! :mrgreen: I've put this code in ext/AustinMaddox/s3/acp/main_module.php if (!preg_match('/[A-Z0-9]{20}/', $request->variable('s3_aws_access_key_id', ''))) { trigger_error($user->lang('ACP_S3_AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID_INVALID', $request->variable('s3_aws_access_key...

Re: How do I validate user input in the ACP?

Thanks Rich. You said... You can't use that within an acp module file. I didn't think I was. I was using it in an event listener. You have to do it within the actual file prior to the submit so something link this. Do it within what file? that event is only for validating entries that have been adde...

How do I validate user input in the ACP?

Can someone point me to some documentation or forum topics on validating input boxes server-side in my extension? I thought I could just do something like this... static public function getSubscribedEvents() { return [ 'core.validate_config_variable' => 'validate_config_variable' ]; } public functio...

Re: [RC] AWS S3

:shock: People are still using PHP < 5.5? Yikes! PHP completely dropped support for 5.5 on July 21st, 2016. They are not even releasing critical security issue fixes for it anymore. Upgrade! :o

I updated the first post to state the PHP >= 5.5.0 requirement.

Re: [RC] AWS S3

Good to hear! It appears that AWS S3 version 0.1.3 is looking like a possible release candidate so I've updated the prefix accordingly.
