Re: [Beta] AJAX Chat/Shoutbox MOD 2.0.0 Beta 8

Now, the problem: In Firefox 2, the chat box displays fine, with the list of online users right beside the scrolling chat box messages window. However, in IE6 (and probably IE7 too), it seems like the window and the list of users is too wide, and the list of users is pushed directly under the windo...

Re: webalta bot - should I block it?

THanks MartectX but that thread doesn't really tell me anything. I've added it to my bots list and see that it is back crawling the forums again. The part that troubles me is the URL listed by the bot doesn't work and neither does it's root http://www.webalta.net/ru/about_webmaster.html http://www.w...

Re: Account deactivated due to Email change

It's intended to prevent users from changing to invalid e-mail addresses after registration. Thanks Sam, that makes sense. I guess I might just as well turn off the option and if someone needs to change their Email address, an admin can do it for them. Hopefully that will circumvent the need to re-...

Re: Account deactivated due to Email change

Thanks, but I don't want to change the account activation option, since as admin I need to have control over new member activations. I guess you're telling me this is an intended consequence, although having users lose access to their accounts because of a simple profile change seems quite restricti...

Account deactivated due to Email change

One of my members changed their Email address and were automatically deactivated. Is this the intended default behavior and how can I change it? In the ACP Group's permissions, User permissions for his user group set to YES for "Can change e-mail address" and "Can change password"...

Re: Activity Stats MOD

Disregard my earlier question about the extra spaces, it was my fault for the way I re-formatted the code in the index_body.html files

Re: Activity Stats MOD

Congrats on the Release, ditto on the last question "has anything changed"? And one quick question in my list of Users active over the last 24 hours I'm seeing an extra space, (with the last RC version) is this intentional, or perhaps something that I did incorrectly or a conflict with ano...

Re: [RC1] Prime Quick Style - Switch styles from any page

Ok I added it on my main forum. http://canadianmalcontent.net/forum Thanks. :) I get two errors from W3C Markup Validation page I did add a third theme to my forum 'Glacier' but would that cause this? Okay, I found and fixed the issue. Download the new version and redo the installation for the over...

Re: Prosilver: Profiles on Left

This is from my old notes when I was first making changes for profiles on the left in prosilver. NOTE: I'm also using a fixed width of 768px I may have also made other changes to get the formatting correct, sorry I don't have that information at hand. However you can check the link in my sig to see ...

Re: Some questions about links and pic size.

This seems to be a problem with external images, in fact it even mentions in the ACP that externally linked avatars aren't forced to conform to the limits set in the ACP. Perhaps there is a MOD that addresses the issue? BTW, All the links internal and external in my Forum are now underlined since I'...

Re: The fontsize gets way bigger when entering ucp, PM`s and mor

Likely a typo in the code somewhere, change your style and see if you have the problem, if so the problem code is related to the MOD. If the problem goes away look at the files for that style. I had a similar problem, made one typo in a file (a " in the wrong place). Once I found the typo and c...

Re: Add text to header

IF you modified the file offline and uploaded it: log into the ACP (adminstrator control panel) select the Styles Tab Select Templates (under style components) then click the Refresh link in the prosilver line Return to Index and Refresh your browser to see the changes. If you modified the file onli...

Re: Purge Cache

at first visit the board looked like it was missing alot, but after going to several categories and coming back to index, eventually all the missing pieces showed up. Were you making changes? It appears to be sorted now.
