Re: Basic Avatar Questions

Is installing avatars just a matter of uploading your pictures to the gallery folder? Yes. Also note that avatars need to be in a subfolder (of any name) in the gallery folder. Any images that are not in subfolders will not appear. The name of the subfolders will be the name of the categories in th...

A search box is sitting on top of this image. So with a little bit of CSS, this type of search box should be pretty easy to pull off.

Re: HELP:

Like jalaln said, you are most likely using IE6. If for some reason you want to support the (outdated) IE6 browser, here is a work around for transparent png images. A better solution is to convince your work IT to get their act together and upgrade to IE7. :P

Re: Please help with a really simple question.

Open up colours.css and look for html, body (should be the first section listed). In that section, add background-image: url(whatever_your_image_location_is);

Re: Bit of an issue with background image

This is most likely the results of having a background-color defined for the html section. You can fix it by either removing the background-color in the html section (probably defined in html, body in colours.css) or add your background image to the html section

Re: [Release] ProBlack : For Phpbb 3.0.0

Seems to be working perfectly on my 3.0.1 install. In fact all of my 3.0.0 styles have had no problems with the new version.

Re: Need to make some changes in Style Forum!

Perhaps there should be three then. One for official releases (verified by the style team), one for development / release candidate versions of styles, and one for questions and discussions. (So basically, just split the this thread into Style Development and Style Discussion instead of just Style D...

What is the if for if the the person is logged in or not? I want to display on type of header when it is a guest and another when they are logged in. <!-- IF S_USER_LOGGED_IN --> This will show up if the user is logged in. <!-- ELSE --> This will show up if the user is not logged in. <!-- ENDIF -->

Re: Can anyone point me in the correct direction ?

Yes, it is entirely possible. Here are two examples of ones that I've done (both use a colorized version of prosilver). The Amityville Files On this site, the menu is done in Flash and I just modified the header file to put the banner/menu above and then modified the footer to add the bottom of the ...

Re: Forum Table Problem

What have you changed? Have you altered the forumlist_body.html template or are they just CSS changes? If it's just a CSS change, it looks like you're missing a background-color in the .forabg section. From you image, it seems like you've changed the background-image property. Try looking in colours...

Re: can't change styles

Easiest way I've found to do this is to deactivate every style other than the one you want to switch to and then reactivate them. This forces all users to switch to the new style. Basically what needs to happen is the "Anonymous" user needs to be using the default theme in order for it to show up wh...
