OK, I found a fix, at least for my forum. In the configuration administration page, I set it up to use SMTP for mail delivery and I'm pointing to an external mail server. Before I was using the "internal mail function". I am running on Linux. Using the internal mail function was causing a lot of del...

think it would be ok if I uploaded the backup files I have so that the board works and people can post? it's a fairly active board of almost 200 members and I've just been down way to long. I suggest if you can possibly do it set up a development forum for installing a mod of this complexity. In fa...

Hi, thanks for this great work you are doing. I'm upgrading a very heavily moded forum from CH 2.0.4 with about 72 forums and sub forums. I'm using a development copy of the forum and the database. I installed a new PHPBB 2.0.13 I deleted all the files and directories as instructed and uploaded the ...

I wish you all the best of luck. I'm personally committed to PHPBB for my site, http://electro-music.com. I like the people here. Everyone is friendly and tries to help. Sure PHPBB isn't custom made for my particular needs, but it's very good at what it is intended to do, and with a lot of help from...

> mosc : start first with building a test environnement, copying your db onto a new one (prefer a local - eg on your pc). Then you will be able to quickly go installing the dev211ch pack (will save a lot of time), and start to apply other mods of yours after a save at this point. Thanks for the pro...

Forgive me if this isn't the correct place to post this. My forum is 2.1.11 and it has several mods, including the cat-hierarchy sub forums and the attachment mods, but old versions of them that I put in in 2003. I want to upgrade to the latest versions of these mods. I want to use the keep unread m...

I don't think you are nuts. I'm thinking of ideas to use lots of forums too. Did you ever figure out a solution?

I have the same problem with the delays on posting messages. You sometimes wait forever to get that "Your message has been entered successfully" page. I don't think your problem has something to do with CGI scripting on your host. There is something else. My forum works relatively fast on all operat...

Thanks much, that explains it. Seems like the sessions.php fix should be part of the standard release, doesn't it.

I was visiting the PJIRC site and they have released version 2.1.1. I would like to try this to see if it fixes the problems with Mac computers. Would someone please provide instructions on how to upgrade to PJIRC 2.1.1 in this Mod Chat Room?

Thanks....

I have a question. I just installed this on a phpbb 2.0.10 with the easymod installer. :) It worked like a charm, but the applet has dozens of "undefined string"s on there. It's annoying. How would I fix that? I was using Mozilla on a XP OS. I had to upgrade to 1.8a to get that to go away. It seems...
