Re: ACP Blank Page

I've just tried running the Support Toolkit and the same script is at the top of that page too?

When I try to access ACP I just see as per the attachment. The ACP has previously displayed correctly. Any ideas how to resolve this?

Re: Restoring hacked index.php

Hi Steve, I've had a look at the support template but the board is hosted on a VPS and the service provider is not very good at providing access to manage logs etc. As an alternative what would happen if I deleted the phpBB3 installation and then reinstalled a clean one. I was running the latest ver...

Restoring hacked index.php

A recent attack on our web site seems to have corrupted the index.php file. After reading elsewhere in the forum I downloaded a clean copy of index.php from phpBB and transferred this to our site by FTP. However now when I try to launch the forum I now got the following error message: "Fatal er...

Re: Administration Control Panel

Your style must match your file version. From what I just found, the author abandoned it when 3.0.1 was around. So you either need to do a shed load of hand coding to update it or look for another style which is up to date. It's very similar to prosilver Special Edition. Thanks I've now applied PSE...

Administration Control Panel

Just updated from 3.0.8 to 3.0.9 without any problem. However I still have a situation whereby when I access the ACP I am first taken back to the forum home page and have to repeat the process to get to the ACP. This has been the case for subsequent updates from about 3.05 upwards. Not a big issue b...

ACP Link does not work following 3.08 update

When I log in to ACP I get taken back to the forum home page rather than to the ACP? I have to then choose the ACP link again to get there?

Re: Problem logging in as admin

If you restored a database, your login will be that of your account on the restored database. The restoration will overwrite the account you made when you did the installation. You can use the Support Toolkit to get in to a new account. I've uploaded the toolkit as per the instructions but when I t...

Re: Problem logging in as admin

Sorry Kevin! It's basically a fresh installation on a new server, I've changed the main logo in the top left hand corner and also imported the swanky style and set that as default. I then restored a previous database from a previous 3.06 board that was hosted on a different server that crashed. Afte...

Re: Problem logging in as admin

It's not worth the hassle of trying to chase it round. It's only a couple of minutes to drop the tables, upload a blank config.php file and install folder and redo the installation. I'll give it a go but don't know what you mean by "drop the tables"? I'd also changed some images and the s...
