Re: Need Expert Help

Nice...a database cleaner.

My OCD was having fits about leaving non-standard database changes roaming around.

Re: Need Expert Help

Modifications to the database will now be ignored, because there is no code to call them. The ACP may still display modules, but just disable those for MODs. Steve, First off, thank you soooooo much. Secondly, is there any database hit or any reason for me address the non default phpBB database cha...

Re: Need Expert Help

How will that handle all the extra database changes that were required for some of the MODs?

I am running things like Knowledge Base, Blogs, Board3 Portal, etc.

I can PM you some info if you want to see what I am talking about.

Need Expert Help

Hey guys,
I have a heavily modified phpBB board that I would like to strip down to just a vanilla install of phpBB. Are there any experts here who can assist? I can do a fresh install of phpBB, I just need to know which tables are crucial in order to migrate users, posts/replies, etc.

Re: [split from] Password recovery problems

Ok done and back online.

I dont think it was the template. I had played with a Joomla bridge but never implemented it. I am testing a new template and hence the joomla extension had not been reinstalled yet. On the fresh phpbb I got auth errors :-) So I updated the auth_method back to 'db'.
