Re: [Alpha] phpBB Calendar 0.0.7 (alightner/spacedog)

Hi there, as suggested I did the search and found the patch for hidden groups: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?p=4978615#p4978615 I don't think this is a bug in your stuff but when I "tested user permissions" for a user with less access than me, he could see the list of groups I would s...

Re: [Alpha] phpBB Calendar 0.0.7 (alightner/spacedog)

cool.. thanks for the quick reply, it's a great mod.

I'll do a search for that quick-fix for the hidden groups! This thread is crazy long, they should give you a whole forum for this mod as it's a whole feature unto itself and deserves it. :D

Re: [Alpha] phpBB Calendar 0.0.7 (alightner/spacedog)

Hey there, just like to congratulate you and say thanks for a great mod, I was looking for this. I had a similar permissions bug to people on here but it seems to be primarily cause by not flushing the phpbb cache from the ACP. Also, I slimmed down the index week view and put it at the top of the bb...

Ok, managed to fix this by setting the subSilver style font (in the admin settings panel) to have "osaka" as its highest priority font

Re: Mac/MSIE display and input of DBCS

There are two related problems, both apparently the fault of MSIE running on the Macintosh. 1) When a Japanese, Korean or Chnese (TC/SC) language pack is installed, the characters in drop-down menus (for example, selecting ho many days' worth of messages to display) are corrupted into single-byte c...

I discovered a little more, If I *force* the display mode in Internet Explorer to Shift-JIS (it keeps selecting JIS automatically) and then press preview, the text is previewed correctly and put into the text input box correctly. Hi, I'm not having trouble with the input or output of Japanese text, but I do have trouble if I try to edit a previously posted message, or if I try to preview a message I have just written. It previews ok, but then it seems to garble up the text in the message input area (it changes into random ch...

what's your pages of encoding method? iso-8859-1 or something else? charset=iso-8859-1 is what it says when I view the source of any of my forum's pages. Are you using Apache v2? or v1.3? Have you seen this kind of problem before? - ie. the japanese works fine but once the body of the text is proce...

Re: a fix for double byte character sets encoding

Hi there,

I tried this but I think my problem must be something to do with apache v2.

I can type in Japanese and post ok, but if I preview or edit a post (or reload) the characters start getting corrupted. Eventually they turn to complete junk and I can't even display the message.
