i extracted the folders and uploaded the replacement folder. But when i click the "Now start the update process by pointing your browser to the install folder" i get this error

I'm going to sound thick but how do i clear the boards cache?

i have just done a restore from my backup i saved before i attempted to install the update my board is now saying it's 3.0.1 but i didn't install the update again?

i don't have any mods installed i can't do the ftp upload as i get an error telling me a can't connect to my sever

I will restore the board from my backup from last night now.

I'm a little confussed do i have to change the old files for the new before i run the install?

I did the following i installed all the old files back to my ftp from the install folder you get when you download the update i can now get back onto my acp just got to figure how to update now so i don't loose access again.

I wouldn't i've lost all access to my acp and getting no support how to sort the problem the same as alot of others with this problem.

is there anyone who can help with this? I do have a backup which i made before doing the upgrade but its a GZ which i downloaded from my acp but i can't restore from it cos i can't access my acp.

I have contacted my host one.com and they have no restrictions on mass mail sent. However i still can't get the mass mail to worl i have tried both mass mail via my php and smtp.
