none of the scripts posted in this thread have worked for me. However I was able to rebuild my search database with the script in this thread. I can now sucessfully search my imported ezboard forum with phpBB 2.0.10.

converted ezboard posts do not appear in keyword searches

Draknek, Thank you for pointing that out. After spending dozens of hours on other converter issues, I guess I overlooked that part of the ReadMe! I should note that I could only rebuild my search database with the script in this thread: http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=151438&start=0&postd...

Not able to keyword search imported ezboard forum

When I search my imported ezboard forum, I always get no results for keyword searches. Author searches work, though. Has anybody else experienced this?

OK, figured it out. In your Account Preferences on ezboard, you have unchecked Move Updated Topics To Top. I have this option checked. But then why does the forum converter extract the threads out of order if I have this option checked?

Well, you uncovered something unpleasant. When I LOGOUT of ezboard the posts are incorrectly sorted as you have shown. However, when I LOGIN the post are properly sorted! Crazy. I'm fairly sure I used cURL, but I'll double check tonight at home. What puzzles me is that the threads remain out of orde...

jtatum, Thanks for looking at this! I'm don't know where you pulled the code, but when I look at ezboard the threads are sorted by Last Post Date in perfect chronological order. However, the threads in my import are not perfectly sorted. I don't know about the code, but I'm talking about what I see ...

I figured this thread is becoming a bit scattered, so I started a new thread regarding ezboard imports and date sorting.

ezboard import - dates somewhat improperly sorted

jtatum posted the below message in this thread: Revised 7/2003 ezboard migration script Anyone having a problem with date conversion, please post the EzBoard date, the date imported to phpBB, and the $track_seconds setting from the conversion script. Also, the script say to set the forum to "Ezboard Classic", I presume that actually means simply "Classic"..?! In Forum Specific Admin on your ezboard control center, click General Settings, then select ezboard classic for Forum Layout. Other than that, I would suggest you carefully read the instru...

ezboard converted - now a date sorting problem

Has anyone had success in converting an Ezboard version 7.246g forum to a phpBB 2.06 forum ? Only the first page of my ezboard forum imports. Ezboard 7.246g and phpbb 2.06 - conversion successful :) Well, I managed to convert my forum this morning. I'm not sure why it worked. Perhaps it functioned ...

Zonetuke, Yes, tried to do it yesterday and I converted one forum but all dates are messed up. I use 7-7-03 script indeed. Seem to me the script isn't compatible with the new ezboard software. Did more than one page convert, or only the first page? I wish I could covert more than one page on my for...

Partybuster,

Did you convert your ezboard recently? Which script, the 7-7-03 script? Did your ezboard forum have multiple pages? That is where I am getting hung up.
