Re: Who ordered/has got Bertie Bear 3.0?

"AH! RUN FOR YOU LIFE! IT'S BERTIE-ZILLA!" That isn't the scariest part that is that it looks like he isn't under control by SHS`anymore :o :o Then ... who is he controlled by? @_@ Bertie and Bertie only controls himself. MUAHAHAHAHA!!! ... *goes back to World Domination planning*

Re: PhpBB copyright string

Another thing to throw in: the version in that database should also serve as a way to check for new updates. I am sure there are certain scripts within phpBB 3 where your message boards connect directly to phpBB.com for updates. Modifying them is a whole different story. ACP -> System. It should be...

Re: things wrong with 3.0

Dear me, that's bad. IE7 is used by around 80% of my board's visitors. There is a workaround, which I've gotten in the habit of doing anyway as some sites have timeouts and that is to do a ctrl+a and ctrl+c to copy the post to the clipboard before doing anything else. In fact, I'll do it before sub...

Re: Bertie joins his phpBB & Joomla! buddies @ LinuxTag Berlin

Hello everyone for the last time from Berlin! Saturday was my busiest day at the fair. Lots of visitors had questions about phpBB and were looking for some last gummy-berties. We even went around the exhibition and offered gummy-berties to the other opensource projects! A large number of them uses p...

Re: Bertie joins his phpBB & Joomla! buddies @ LinuxTag Berlin

Hi, it's Bertie again. We had a nice evening at LinuxNacht yesterday and had some German beer and wine. Most of the team was a bit tired (mostly Ashley who spent too much time in supporting you) and so none of us have a hangover today. So let's have a closer look to the phpBB-booth. Here you can see...

[EVENT] Bertie joins his phpBB & Joomla! buddies @ LinuxTag Berlin

Hi, it's Bertie! I'm writing to you from my first day at the LinuxTag exhibition in Berlin - or as I like to call it - Bearlin. Yesterday Jon and I arrived here, coming from Hong Kong, where some of my friends are still waiting to be adopted by you. We both were a bit tired after the trip - so I can...

Permission to mention the creator of Bertie™ and BertieZilla™?
When you meet me, you will finally know what his devious mind has created.

Re: So, April Fools forum pranks

Everyone got assimilated by the Borg when they entered Deck 15... despite the HUGE RED LETTERS that read: "DO NOT ENTER THIS DECK!!"... alas, it is why Highway of Life is banned from phpBB.com as well. (see "The Team" link below), he tricked NeoThermic (Support Team Leader) into ...

Well that just depends... 'Bertie' is not a single entity.
There is a Bertie Army, for example.

Re: Activity Stats MOD

place

Code: Select all

echo $sql;
right below the $sql code to grab the list of users... this should give us the SQL Query which you can run in phpMyAdmin to see if you get the same result, or to see if something is incorrect in the SQL Query itself.

Someone has set up a script to automatically refresh the page to artificially boost the number. There is a vast conspiracy involving Dr. Evil , several albino Platypuses and - of...

Re: So, April Fools forum pranks

Welp, we at STG just initiated our April Fools joke today... a bit late, but due to the size of the project, it took quite a bit of time. I’ll describe it after the wave has passed though, won’t do much good now since all of our members are phpBB fans, they like to read my posts for clues. Be...
