I like the idea of creating the 3rd database, and that is the way i will proberly end up doing it.

I'll make the script i write publicly available once done!

EDIT: @R. U. Serious - I couldnt get a copy of barts script, timeout on server.

you should be able to, as 2.0.5 is only a minor increment over 2.0.4, so should not really contain much "new feature/restructing" work.

If you have Cable or DSL internet access, you could host the MySQL database on your machine at home if your not already doing so. Advantage is it is free!! Disadvantge being slower browsing if your webserver is not on the internal home network as well. Alternativly, buy another harddisk just for you...

I think the files is in templates/<template_name>/viewforum_body.tpl

Use HTML comments (<!-- and -->) to experiement, my code is modified, so it may not be in exactly the same place as yours.

it could be load on the DB.. the servers may need a reboot someone could be deliberatly crashing the database your hosting company may be updating the database server if db and webserver on seperate physical machines, it could even be a dodgey network cable. login as an administrator, and go to your phpbb administration panel.

click "configuration" on the left.

on the right, look for script path (3rd from top i think), and try changing it to exactly "/ssdelta" (without the quotes).
