Make sure your template has been updated to phpBB3.0.7. If your style has been updated by the author then reinstall it or if it is heavily modified or not updated yet by the author you can do the template updates yourself. Have you done the phpBB 3.0.6 - phpBB 3.0.7 template edits yet?

I had the acp login issue before i did the template updates and after completing them and clearing the cache, i now get redirected to the acp straight after re-authenticating myself.

I had the same problem... I first went and checked the permissions and they seemed fine then i cleared the cache and it worked fine so if you have the problem try clearing the cache and that should do the trick.
