Hi i have installed 3.0.2 onto my site on a separate database from my 3.0.1, but is it possible for me to move the 3.0.1 database to my 3.0.2 database (databases have different names)?

Well by files i meant basically the data that records all the posts and categories and things and i would like to be able to move that to a different database.

Well i have 2 databases both of them have portals, but the second one is a beta portal i was testing out and i was wondering if i could take files from the first database to the second.

k well how would i go about transfering dbs so my forums are intact because i have another portal with the same style edited so how would i do that?

Ok but how do i redirect the portal because the portal gets a error because it is not installed on the style i am using. So how do i redirect the site from /forums (which is where the portal is) to /forums/index.php (where forum is)

Ok it worked with a little bit of tinkering in the htaccess file and used the link to get back in as i have not installed the portal on this style, but why was it trying to redirect the index.php all the time to the portal.php and then when i try index.php it never worked? Hi, right now i cant get into my website to change some settings or anything around, but if i change the default style i can get it working again. I believe if i have a link for the admin log panel or panel itself i should be able to fix it.

Ok i got mine working it turns out the posting.php was missing files so i reuploaded a clean one and got it working and i had some of the files in the wrong spot.

alright yea i got the icons working and i didnt realize the pak files were for phpbb2. Thanks for your help Clark
