Re: Warning on reply to old thread

I have added this functionality on my board. If you want to add it too just follow these steps OPEN posting.php FIND // Can we edit this post ... if we're a moderator with rights then always yes // else it depends on editing times, lock status and if we're the correct user ADD BEFORE $ndays = 60; $i...

Warning on reply to old thread

Hello!

Is there any MOD that warns the user when he tries to reply to an old thread?

Let's say I have a thread with no replies in the last year and a user tries to reply. I would like to show the user a warning before he submit the post.

Thanks!

Re: 3.0.1 => 3.0.2 codechanges

Thanks guys. The problem is that my board is not completely updated to 3.0.2, only partially updated. That's why I want to manually complete the update from 3.0.1 to 3.0.2 and then yes, do the auto-update from 3.0.2 to 3.0.4. I have made some changes in the code, so overwriting the files is not an o...

Hello, I know I'm a bit late with the updates, my fault :oops: I want to update to 3.0.4 but first I want to complete the 3.0.1 to 3.0.2 update :P I started it some time ago but I left some things without update (like admin theme files and other things that doesn't affect the users). Re: [DEV] bbGeSHi - a better syntax highlighter

I believe you have to refresh the templates and themes from your ACP.

Re: Removing moderator

Solved. The colour was set in the user_colour field of the database registry for this user.

Re: Removing moderator

Thanks JimA. His active group is Active Members which has no special color defined. Also checked that the Moderator group is not in his dropdown group list. :roll:

[Solved] Removing moderator

Hello,

I have removed the permissions of a Moderator and he is not in the Moderator group anymore. However his name is displayed in the forum board with the colour that identifies the Moderator group. What I'm missing here?

Thanks in advance!

Force re-login

Hello!

I need the users of my forum to read and accept the new Terms Of Service the next time they login, so I need the auto-logged members to be forced to login again. If I change the cookie name would those users be forced to login again? Or is there another/better way to do it?

Thanks in advance.

Re: [DEV] bbGeSHi - a better syntax highlighter

I haven't tested a lot but I believe this solves the problem. OPEN includes/message_parser.php FIND return "[code=$stx:" . $this->bbcode_uid . ']' . $code . '[/code:' . $this->bbcode_uid . ']'; ADD BEFORE if ($stx == 'text') { $str_from = array('[', ']'); $str_to = array('[', ']'); $code = str_repla...

Re: [DEV] bbGeSHi - a better syntax highlighter

Sorry I don't know what I was thinking :oops:

You are right, I tested with the correct tags :P and they are interpreted. I though I had test this before. Well, will have to look for a solution because this is a problem :(
