Thank you for these instructions... It helped a lot... I followed them the best I could, but ran into a hitch. where's a good place to put a banner?

I want to place a 468x60 banner for my site somewhere on my forum. Anyone have any ideas on where i should put it (and where within the script i put the code?)?

ok, so i made the few changes you noted then brought the new burntees folder into the styles folder. went to my forum and installed "burntees". purged the cache. everything looks exactly the same as before :(

From there, you'll need to enable the style through the admin panel where you should see it by name, and then edit the css file for the new style. To make changes, edit the stylesheet.css (found inside theme folder in your new style folder) Look for the 'html' and 'body' styles, and add these: back...

i'm installing the code into the footer file like you said. do i need to refresh the site somehow so that it shows up and re-reads what i installed in the code?

thanks. i guess the two main pieces that will really bring it together are the background and the banner. i saw instructions on how to change the banner (not sure what size the banner should be though) but where do i go to change the background? I have an jpg that i use to generate the background on...

this installation guide is awesome. One newbie dumb question...what size should i make the banner?
