ok, so i made the few changes you noted then brought the new burntees folder into the styles folder. went to my forum and installed "burntees". purged the cache. everything looks exactly the same as before

thanks. i guess the two main pieces that will really bring it together are the background and the banner. i saw instructions on how to change the banner (not sure what size the banner should be though) but where do i go to change the background?
