Re: can someone

Only if you make someone else an Administrator. Then the "new" admin can delete you... I think  Even if you set the setting "Founder" for you, and not for the "new" admin, that "new" admin can uncheck it for you and check it for them.... The whole point of the founder status is that founde...

Re: Changing Default Font Attributes for Posts

If I change these settings then it changes the "Fields" where people input their posts or information. Not what I'm looking to do. Well sorta, So what I'm looking for is the "posted" version of the post to change., input { color: #244F66; font-family: "Lucida Grande", Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif;...

Hello, How would I change the default setting for posts? basically I want to change the font style from whatever it is to say (example: Arial with a slight increase in size) output only on posts, the rest of the board needs to be left alone. I totally understand css... but I'm not finding that parti...

Force Password Change

Hello again, I was wondering if there is a way I can force a password change for the entire member base right now, instead of using the Force password change: Require user to change their password after a set number of days. Setting this value to 0 disables this behaviour. That is found within the A...

Re: Viewing Links, based on Group Permissions?

Thank You very much, I knew about those switches, I was more wondering about groups. As I'm trying to focus the Registered Users attention to certain areas, where as certain groups I'd like to have them see the full forum board instead of just categories. Basically having certain groups only able to...

Re: Custom page

Also take a look at this page too, it helped me out a lot if you want to add a link to your new custom pages in your header or footer or wherever for that matter:

Viewing Links, based on Group Permissions?

Not sure if this is a mod request or something that is actually part of the base code. Is there a way to set up links that only certain groups can see? Not pages, just links that I'd like to use in the overall_header. So for instance, if the Board of Directors are logged in, they see a different nav...

Members being logged out when accessing Public Pages

How do I keep members from being logged out when after they login and visit publicly viewed pages on the same site? The website is running 100% off of phpBB3.0.5 (fresh install - no upgrades from previous versions) For instance, I have a page called memorials.php . It works fine and it is open to th...

Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.0.3 released

Is it possible to use the Auto Updater then go in behind it and update the files that failed to get updated, which would be the heavily mod'ed sections?

Thanks again for all your hard work in piecing together yet another patch, I look forward to updating my 3 boards.
