Having installed this succesfully before I've just tried again on a newly installed board and everything looks fine except that I get no calendar date option when either posting a new topic or editing one. My code changes look ok so am confused as to what may be stopping this from showing? Right, I...

Re: ok

ok, I think I've found an answer for most of you. At least for those who don't have the language entries displayed. Try this: #-----[ OPEN ]------------------------------------------------ # language/lang_english/lang_main.php # #-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------------ # // //...

Thanks again for your reply. I think another post of yours may have come up with a workable answer. http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?p=2593172#2593172 Give DB Maintenance over on phpbbhacks.com a try... it specializes in reattaching topics, posts, et al when the database gets a little (or a ...

Just copy the backup to a new file, and edit the new file to remove everything that does not say "INSERT INTO phpbb_users" at the beginning, save it and restore the new file. The rest of the database should be fine. Thanks but I said I can do that. The question really relates to removing any posts ...

Users table deleted in error

I've deleted the users table in error. I thought I was deleting a column relating to a mod but instead it took all the rows. Anyway I have a backup, less maybe half a dozen users and can use that to restore the users. I know some of the users I have lost have posted and their posts remain in the dat...

Can't find file to amend

At the bottom of the index page under Who is Online there is a box of text including the number of articles the forum has and number of users. Which file is that as I can find it despite opening the more obvious ones like overall_footer.php, viewforum.php etc. Thanks in advance. I just know it's goi...

Backup file incomplete

I took a backup of my forum earlier prior to installing 2.0.21 but when I've tried to reinstall it the tables only go through to phpbb_posts. I have no entries after so have lost my database. I have contacted by hosting company and they have said that the backups of the server would be for their own...

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: dss_rand() in /home/ctfc1/public_html/forum/includes/sessions.php on line 180 I don't understand why that...

I doubt someone would go to the trouble of registering manually on the chance it won't be deleted. Yes - This is possible... Did the "visitor" register himself only? I would have imagined so. Since I installed this I have days with none but then a couple appear. Overnight I had 7 and have had anoth...
