Re: People in usergroup loosing rank image.

Ok, this is as strange as all get out.

It appears to be working fine now, but I changed nothing and I even got the screenshot of it not working up there.

Thank you for all of your help.

Re: People in usergroup loosing rank image.

Ranks and groups are separate things. I just made a group, a user and a rank based on post count. I put the user into the group and it still has its rank. Does he still have a rank image based on post count? Maybe I'm stupid or ignorant, but I can't really see what I am doing wrong. The user I will...

Re: People in usergroup loosing rank image.

I'm led to believe that it is not possible, I might have to use this:
[BETA] Nyquist Show Groups Info (multiple ranks)
Even though I'm not crazy about installing a beta mod on a live board.

People in usergroup loosing rank image.

Hello, I have recently created a forum over at http://SM269.com/phpBB3/ To be blunt, if a user registers and posts then they will have the rank of private of an appropriate image. That is all fine, but when I add them "[SM269] Member" group, it changes their rank to "[SM269] Member" which is complet...

Re: [RC3] phpBB Rivals (Clans, Ladders & Tournaments)

I'm looking to request a feature. Not really all that hard, but it'd be fantastic if you could program some "Go back to the previous page" links.

Re: [RC1]Ajax Shoutbox 1.2.x

Hello, I am in place to request any help, but I was wondering if it would be possible to insert this shoutbox somewhere besides index.php I recently tried to place it inside an html block on my portal.php, but everything was squished because my block is about half the size of the what the forum is. ...

Re: Custom BBCodes: A Security Risk?

I'm sorry, but I'm going to bump it. I am just about to go ahead and add this to my site and I would prefer not to open up a security hole.

Sorry and thank you,

Custom BBCodes: A Security Risk?

Hello, To be blunt, I want to make a custom bbcode, but am unsure if it would present a security risk to my forum. I realize that html on phpBB3 in it's vanilla form is dangerous, but since this code is more specific, I would think it would be impossible for a hacker to take advantage of this specif...

Re: SQL Error: Desperately in search of help.

And I think I figured out my other problem. I believe the error was a derivative of having the poll enabled on my alphaPORTAL mod. All that I know is that it works after I disabled it and uploaded. It is kinda funny that it worked on localhost and not on the server. Thanks, -Adam Edit: If possible, ...

Re: SQL Error: Desperately in search of help.

Hehe, that is what I thought, but I thought that if I made just a vanilla [embed][/embed] custom bbcode that hackers and evildoers could use it to embed some nasty things into my forum.

Thanks again,

Re: SQL Error: Desperately in search of help.

The HTML question is not really relevant as there is no way to enable HTML, all HTML support has been stripped from phpBB3 :) However HTML is still a security risk especially when embedding stuff into the page :) Hello, Thank you for you respone. The thing is that I know that I can add things to my...

Re: SQL Error: Desperately in search of help.

Hello, I should probably post this in a new topic since this a whole new questions, but here goes nothing: I realize that allowing html in phpBB3 is a huge security risk, but hear me out. Lets say, for example, that I need to embed a one-time link to a video. If I do [embed][embed] for the bbcode an...
