phpBB compatability with MySQL 5.5?

Hi all,

I'm currently using phpBB version 3.0.4 and just received an email from my service provider (godaddy) that they will be upgrading the database from MySQL 4.0 to MySQL 5.5. Will there be a compatability issue with this combination? Thank you.

Ahhhhh!

My board is hosed now! It gives me the above error any time I try to submit a change in the ACP and the change does not stick.

I don't have any MODs installed. I used the automatic updater.

Hmmm, I'm using subsilver2, shouldn't it show then? Do I need to do anything to "reset" the board after I do the update?

I just updated my board to 3.0.4 specifically for this option, but I don't see to see it where you said it should be. please help!

BTW the database is MySQL version 4.1


So I guess I need to contact GoDaddy and gripe about it then, huh?
