I don't think I ended up fixing this I think I found a way around it or something, but I'll TRY again this month sometime if I get the time. Probably around the last week of October or something, but maybe earlier.

Limitations: only works with mysql

Hey... I'm the developer of the convertor. I haven't fixed it to work with phpBB2 Final yet. If you would like, you could install phpBB2 RC-1 and convert your board to that, then use the update_to_FINAL.php script to update the phpBB2 RC-1 board to phpBB2 Final. I'll try to get it fixed soon. RC-1 c...

Well... As previously mentioned, this was designed for RC1... so, try running the RC3 update included with phpBB RC3...

and with regards to the timeout: simply install apache :).. I know it sounds close-minded, but I never got the script working without timing out in IIS.

you might be able to... If you're in IE go to tools> internet options> advanced, and uncheck "show friendly HTTP errors"

then let me know the exact error that is happening.

PS> GO CANADA GO!!!!. 2nd period... up 3-2

sounds like you're using IIS :)... You're going to need to increase the timeout settings... my forums had 50,000 posts... I ran into a few problems with IIS timing out, so I switched to apache, and all ran well.
