Sorry been busy. Will have a look at this albet slowly. Next couple of months are busy for me but I'll do some work when I can spare the time. Thanks for the post wkitty42 - it will be useful. Yeah I'm planning on seperating the "brains" of the mod away from phpBB. Right now the structure ...

Hey everyone. Been a while since I've been back here ;) I'm considering restarting development on this mod. I think it's one of the coolest mods for phpBB and it's a pitty to leave it in this state. I've had a LOT more experience in both coding and AI since I wrote this mod 3 years ago so I could do...

Adsense & sid= at login

I notice that when you start a new session on phpBB then (even if you have cookies correctly configured) all the links on the page you first view after you start your session will have the &sid=... on them. This annoying since if you are running google's adsense, then google will not recognise t...

Intergrated in what sense? I run both off my site. If you want to enable to use the google "WebSearch plus AdSense for search" login to your adsense account then go Account Information -> Products -> Edit Information and select to subscribe to the WebSearch thingy. It doesn't cost anything...

This is an excellent mod. It does everything you would want, but is gnerally lacking in ban systems. However there is one small error has been stuffing people up. No one has posted up the correct fix. There were errors in BOTH the previous fixes to this. Note my use of empty() instead of isset() - i...

But by having /n changed to ' ' in the php doesn't that defeat the point of doing that or : If I put the replace for '<n>' being '/n' AFTER (below in the php) replacing /n with ' ' will that keep the /n when it goes to browser? Im sure I tried this with the <br> tags and it didn't work. <br> tags w...

Well yeah, you could write your own tag (say <n>) to stand for a new line which could be translated into \n before it goes to the browser.

Getting rid of the code for the new line removal is dangerous. There are some AIML files which do use at lot of \n's which becomes annoying. But it's probably best to do since it doesn't come up that often.

If im not wrong, zemaj finished high school in 2002, and went to uni in 2003. So I think it'd be time consuming for uni work to continue this thing, or maybe some other reason.. Yeah, basically there is little that can be done to impove to improve the progam past the point it is at now using curren...

Ok, the issue here probably lies in that with the new Apache updates. Apache times out on long requests and there nothing that can be done (with php as far as I know) to stop it. I've been trying to get around it with the new version, but nothing so far. Trying it in safe mode should work, I don't k...

The <that> tags are like the <pattern> tags in that they define when the response is used. They define what the bot must have last said in order for them to be used. Unfortuately they don't work for multiple sentences and might not always work if you have punctation in your output. Note that they go...
