Online users for administrators or global moderators

Hi, I'd like to make show the "who is online" box only for admins and/or moderators. I wonder if there a way to hack a style in order to do so. I looked for the predefined constants but I didn't find anything specific. I'm not sure but pheraphs some time ago I used U_MCP to accomplish a filter like ...

Re: Adding a table to template but only in forum home

Hi, sorry for me not being enough clear :(

Now that you made me re-read my post, maybe you gave me a clue for the answer.

I want the shout box only in the forum index... so maybe I have to edit index_body.html instead of overall_header.html as I did instead?

Thanks

Adding a table to template but only in forum home

Hi, I'm modifying subsilver2 to add a shoutbox on the top of the forum list, and I'm adding the proper code to overall_header.html The problem is that the shoutbox appears for every page the user navigates, private messages, profile, etc. I'd like to make it appear only when the forum home is loaded...

Allthough the style is for 3.0.0 and not updated for the latest release of phpBB3 (3.0.1).

Problem receiving emails for a specific domain

Hi. I installed the forum, let's say in http://www.example.com/forum/ I set up the new user registrations to "Administrators". The admin was registered with admin@example.com , and he didn't receive the email with his login data. When an user registers also, he doesn't receive the notification email...

Re: Who receives the regsitration emails?

Ok, but what if I simply add the admin to the Administrators group? Does he automatically obtain such permission?

Who receives the regsitration emails?

I set up the registration on Administrators, so the admins receive the email notification when an user registers. Ok. It works with the default "admin" user I created during installation. But what are the minimum steps I must follow if I want to let another registered user to be promoted admin and t...

Re: email in html format

So, it can be done in an easy way, but it's up to me taking the risk.

Thanks.

You were so right! With the hidden works ;)

Code: Select all

src="{T_THEME_PATH}/images/button_login.gif"
Thanks.

Re: "quick login" take me to standard login

But this works:

Code: Select all

<input type="image" name="login" value="{L_LOGIN}" src="./styles/abc/theme/images/button_login.gif" />
Since I'm here... is there a way to print the name of the template in use rather than specifying the raw name in the path to the image? ("abc" in this case)

Re: "quick login" take me to standard login

Most forms in phpBB3 include a formcode to validate the form's authenticity (i.e. a reponse that's received is from actually filling in a form, and not some bot just sending the right post variables to the server). Make sure you also move that along. Bingo. Or sort of. I replaced the submit button ...

Re: "quick login" take me to standard login

Was this an install through your host? Yes Does this mean you installed it with fantastico or any other one click automatic method? Oh, no no! I mean I uploaded the files and run the proper installer. @Eelke: I'm modifiying it, using the prosilver as base. Mmh, just now I switched to the default "p...
