Re: Permission problem - Guests can post

Ah, good point.

If the permissions were coming from an unidentifiable pont, then would it be able to change other permissions around it?

Re: Permission problem - Guests can post

Have you set permissions for posting to NEVER?

It should completely override anything set.

Re: How to adjust user warnings in acp

Yes, using a rather good mod.

Search for "ban user by x warnings"

It's a simple mod, shouldn't be hard to install.

Re: Permissions

Nope, It's disabled.

I'm thinking, is it something to do with the config file in the en folder?

Re: Permissions

Wow, out of the frying pan and into the fire... That worked, but now some quite vital images have gone missing. It is the [en] imageset folder that is NOT displaying any images. I have gone into the ACP, and looking at the styles they appear, but when I go into the Board Index they're not there! Hel...

Re: Avatars/Ranking images problem

It should by default keep the avatars, but I have heard that it ranking images are too large then it overtakes the avatar and hides it, but that may have been an isolated incident. Re: Can someone help me??

If the worst comes to the worst, download the file, untar it, zip it, and upload it again.

You can untar it with a lot of programs. :)

Re: Can someone help me??

This is just a suggestion, but does it mean to uncompress it?

.tar files could mean what untaring means...

It should be similar to uncompressing a .zip file.

Permissions

When I set permissions for my Website-in-the-making, I usually create the forum, click on the "set permissions" link, set appropriate catagories, then hit submit.

But all it does is refresh the page, clear all my permissions, and not set them.

What am I doing wrong?
