It should by default keep the avatars, but I have heard that it ranking images are too large then it overtakes the avatar and hides it, but that may have been an isolated incident. You can untar it with a lot of programs.

I know TUGzip does tar files...

.tar files could mean what untaring means...

It should be similar to uncompressing a .zip file.

When I set permissions for my Website-in-the-making, I usually create the forum, click on the "set permissions" link, set appropriate catagories, then hit submit.

But all it does is refresh the page, clear all my permissions, and not set them.

What am I doing wrong?
