BTW, similarly to German, maybe it would be not a bad idea to make two translations:
"Russian - Вы"
"Russian - Ты"
Well, many out of here would love to choose "Russian - Падонак" ;)

How to setup phpBB for *multilingual* target audience?

Hi, would be interesting to learn if phpBB became a cool forum engine for international+multilingual target audience. Namely, it would be nice if every user could choose his/her part of the forum he/she can read. The majority of people in Europe can speak at least two languages, so it would be logic...

BTW, being stuck with this problem, I tried to run install/upgrade.php too. There came a lot of permission denied warnings. I've made chmod 777 for all include/* files.
