Sorry by my poor explanation and thank you for taking the time to reply me! After lots of trial and error, I think I've managed to achieve what I wanted. I wanted $pizza to be stated once in the header and picked up wherever I wanted on the page, including the footer. In the end I managed to achieve...

Re: Full Site Integration

My website integration allows to make posts from my website to the phpBB forums. The post text itself is picked up from <textarea name="message" rows="6" cols="50" tabindex="3" class="inputbox"></textarea> I was wondering; Does anyone know if it's po...

Does anyone in this thread have any experience with the current spam wave and anti-spam measures of the sort "six random images are displayed, tick off the box next to all the images showing a balloon"? If you read this TOPIC and other TOPIC's on here you will see there is a lot of experi...

Re: hammered by newly registered members

I really don't believe that anybody is making any real money from spamming like this. how many people would actually click on a link in a board to buy viagra or whatever? I wager that not many would. It seems like a lot of effort for not much return. Their aim is not as much clicks as search engine...

Re: hammered by newly registered members

I guess if we do this we have to be very careful not to ask stuff that might be geographical or local custom and make sure it is a widely known topic. Indeed. I'm from Norway and don't have a single clue about what the "Sacramento is to Idaho"-Boise-things is O____O;; Keep them internatio...

Re: hammered by newly registered members

It would be awesome if the phpBB team bought a copy of this program, learned how it works, and then created a module for phpBB that would defeat it. :) But phpBB can't possibly be the only software hit by this malicious spamhole?
