Incidentally my problem was just ignorance. My co-admin created a new forum and I forgot to make sure he had set the permissions to registered(hidden) on it like my other forums. :)

Disabled/Banned user posting as Guest

All my forums are registered (hidden). I disabled a user's account and he continued posting as guest. I banned his name, then his IP, and he could still post. I disabled the board, waited a few minutes, re-enabled it and he was still able to post as guest. What happened? And can I kick a user...

Aha! Apparently the default behavior since 2.0.6 is for e-mails to go to all administrators when a new user is created and admin activation is enabled (I think I forgot to mention that last part earlier). I'm going to try the fix from the last post in this thread and see if that works. Thanks anyway...

The only changes I made that should have affected those files are the upgrade from 2.0.4 to 2.0.8a, and the addition of the birthday mod. But when I look at the phpbb_config table in the database, I see board_e-mail is the correct address (as set in the ACP), and all throughout usercp_register.php I...

I checked the admin control panel to make sure it has the admin address and it does. I even deleted it, retyped it and saved the changes. Then I checked again to make sure there are no forwarders on that e-mail account, and as another test I sent an email direct to the admin account and it went thro...

Sorry I wasn't more clear. Let's say my admin account is JoeAdmin, and JoeAdmin's e-mail address is JoeAdmin@hotmail.com. Then the admin account configured in the Admin Control Panel is admins@myforumsite.com. I would expect (and prefer) the new user account notification to go to admins@myforumsite....

Activation e-mail going to wrong address

I just upgraded from 2.0.4 to 2.0.8a and now the new account notification e-mail is not going to the admin e-mail address specified in the general config section of the ACP, it's going to my personal e-mail address. Is that normal?

phpsuexec and permissions

My host, Lunarpages, decided to implement phpsuexec on their servers. As a result, they told us that the permissions on all php scripts had to be changed to 755 or lower, so I did that to all files and directories. Now when someone clicks on "view posts since last visit", then clicks on any given to...

I installed this mod and the BBCode Buttons Organizer mod. However, I really want all the options in the BBCode Box hack. Is there going to be a mod that's compliant with the Multiple mod but has all those features in one, or a different mod for every BBCode tag as seems to now be the case?

Here is a Update: http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=131610 I'm waiting patiently because phpBB is an extraordinary product at any price, much less the current one. ;) But I think calling a five month old post an "update" is a bit of a stretch. :P And did someone say asking when it will be ...

Last Login Time

Does phpbb keep track of user login times? For example, I would like to deactivate users who haven't logged in for 60 days. Is there any way to determine who those people are?
