When users reach a certian post level

Can i set it so they can enter a new forum section? and not have to assign each person a special rank - the forums do it automaticaly and allows all ranking posts above that the same access

telnet/ssh is not working we got this message

[root@server5 cgi-bin]# mysql
bash: mysql: command not found

Looks like we cant save the forum, is there anyway to save the member count

I dont no if it looks resonable :? its just looks weird. I think it begins to repeat the same things over and over, but number values changebut all the posts are there. I really dont want to copy and paste it, there has to be over 10000 lines. How do i telnet/ssh it in.. Please help, old server goes...

Database restore

Ok ive tried most the things on black fluffy lion's tutorial, the database will not restore through a fresh install on phpBB2.0.0 when we click restore database, get the message no file was uploaded for both the 2.2 meg Gzip compressed file as well as the 22 meg .sql un compressed file. No timeouts ...

Ok i have done a fresh install of phpBB2.0.0 what my forums are, clicked restore database. Waited and got the message No file was uploaded.

ReStoring Database

Im moving servers, imrestoring a database from 2.0.0 to a 2.0.1 frehs install. Is this possible to go from 2.0.0 to .1 in restoring

Ive tried to but i get he message no file was uploaded, but i tihnk that may be my network hub, as im having triouble uploading fuill stop

Hi i found this topic as its related to my problem, ive backed up my forums database, uploaded a back-up of the forums on to my new server, but what do i do with phpbb_db_backup.sql its 27 megs.

I did a complete database backup - was this correct
