Re: WYSIWYG editor

I still believe that some kind of complete WYSIWYG editor where the formatting buttons still work when in source mode is a great thing.
Problem is: There's only one editor like that and that same editor is nearly abandoned by its creator.

Re: [RC] Simple WYSIWYG

I can look for that branch so the code can be upgraded to the current needs. That sounds exciting! Feel free to fork https://github.com/senky/phpbb-ext-simplewysiwyg and somehow integrate your code to it. :) It is. Unfortunately, my life became full as in really full and I became unable to solve th...

Re: [RC] Simple WYSIWYG

It is by design. It is actually an excellent design - it allows multiple placeholders and their types. But parsing it in a realtime to HTML and then backwards is very complicated. That's why there is no WYSIWYG in phpBB yet. Actually. I tried that before and was fairly close to achieve it.... Unfor...

Re: [RC] [forum permission] Allow viewing topics started by others

For your case, either the users do not have access to those topics or the filtering was excessively eager and also filtered out results that should have been valid.
I don't really know what the problem was, with that much information.

Re: [RC] [forum permission] Allow viewing topics started by others

That doesn't make sense to me. I don't have any code to do that, related to uninstalling.
Maybe you deleted that role by mistake sometime in the past and the way the extension system works relies on you still having it.
Try solving it by creating that role by yourself and try again.

Re: [RC] [forum permission] Allow viewing topics started by others

Technically, it's called an "extension". MOD is reserved for the ones that required manual changes to the source code.

Re: [BETA] [forum permission] Allow viewing topics started by others

Got some real life priorities to take care of.
I'm all set up for the fixes I need to do here. I will do the changes and then submit a new version, very likely, this week's weekend.

Re: [BETA] [forum permission] Allow viewing topics started by others

This extension was denied again. IMO, there were some acceptable reasons for its denial but, in my opinion, most of them didn't have enough reason. they also complained about things they had ignored me previously!!!! FFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm now discussing on the things I disagree. I'll give an...

Re: [BETA] [forum permission] Allow viewing topics started by others

Hi, would it require some structural changes to alter this mod so that users can see/read all posts, but only interact with their own? "Generates a new permission which allows the user to see and interact with topics that he didn't start." I would like some kind of "diary" subforum where a user can...
