Question is - do we really need that much space? :? Perhaps if you have lived long enough for a hundred years, you might well old enough to see from the bulk to your very first e-mail since you have signed up. :P

Andre Agassi

Emotional Agassi draws curtain on career As a tennis fan and a club player, I couldn't help but to watch his exceptional career in tennis and gave us inspiration. He has done so much on the sport and thus became only one of five players who won all four grand slams. It is sad that he is now retired...

In my country where are live in, most of the Science books who has a topic on the solar system and Pluto even those recently published will have to be revised (all of them) and probably costs a lot. Some of the old Science teachers have mixed reactions that are used to the old planetary system but h...

I believe that member participation is more important than sheer number of members who do not participate. I'd rather have 30 active members who contribute good discussions than 1000 members who doesn't even post a topic.

Pluto - A Planet no more

Pluto stripped of its status as a planet There is much heated debate on the discussion of Pluto. Back in my primary years, the solar system has been my favorite subject. Ever since then, there isn't much information on pluto over the years. Do you think exlusion of the farthest planet would it chan...

800x600 should be obsolete within a year or two.

I don't buy that :? Most of the sites run in that resolution. 1024x768 is mostly run with graphic intensive webistes. They don't need to.

Not really, although I'm a not that a techie myself. It depends how many people using the software, you're not going to find that much hidden bugs. Like phpBB, where more than 66,000+ websites using it, one can see something somewhere... When a "free" software becomes so popular like PhpBB, some jea...

Neither do I, this also applies when you purchase books or any popular products out there in the market.

It is an irony for the fact that you only blame them when something got screwed up. :?

Do you ever read the TOC on installing a software?

Hi, For the most part, new software products have been installed every now and then by computer users/programers. In my experience, I have never even bothered to read or understand the TOC upon installing the programs since the day I got hold of my old computer. What happens if the software you inst...

You need the right topic... As much as it pains me to do so, I've realised that I'm never going to get a majority of people posting intelligent and constructive things on my board, so I'm just living with it :) It is, intelligent discussion has always been rare, we ought to get off-topic most of ti...

Bieng the oldest member - Why he/she is still a newbie?

Hi,

Just wondering on a member who registered a long tine ago made only few posts and the other member who was newly registered member posts everyday.

My question is does your seniority depend on posts rather than the day they registered?

I'm quite puzzled. :?

Why people still post the on wrong the forum?

Hi, I hope this thread gets a worthwhile discussion. I do run my forum for more than couple of years now and I do have a few new members. But I've been liberal according to what members in my forum post and it gets off-topic for most of the time and I didn't seem to bother it at all unless some bad ...

The Bird Flu - a threat to everyone

European Union foreign ministers on Tuesday declared the spread of bird flu from Asia into Europe a "global threat" requiring international action. More info: http://www.cnn.com/2005/HEALTH/conditions/10/18/birdflu.talks/ Ever since the SARS outbreak lashed a couple of years ago, I'm really worried...
