You shouldn't use that extension on any board, as it puts ads in the header.
This will cause the ads to appear on the registration page which is against the Adsense T & C

The topic title suggests it's a feature that's already in phpBB 3.1 by default (and all message board software)

You'll have to wait for the theme author to update the style to phpBB 3.1 if you can't do it yourself, if it's this one

I used to use one on a phpBB2 board, but I altered it so that only the main admin/founder could view the PMs when needed.

Can I request someone make an Arcade extension that gets submitted to the customisation database on phpBB?

3.1 already allows you to register and login using your Google, Bit.ly, or Facebook accounts. Although extensions will need to be created to add more. There is a Thanks and a Post Love extension being worked on.

I'd think they're pretty much the same as a 'like' extension :/

Edit the files and upload them using your FTP program, then either purge the cache or unistall then install the style to see the changes

You would need something like this to be converted to an extension.

But as that mod was even a fork of a previous abandoned self auth mod, I doubt it'll happen anytime soon
