Wow, thanks for the great response. I've posted in the beta mod topic about using 'Search Back' which would be a great solution. I'll copy your post over for my members. Hopefully some of your ideas will help them. Tell people to right click on a link to open it in a new window, for example to reply...

I like the idea of using 'Search Back'. I actually have that installed already except as I recall there was one find/replace conflict when installing KUF. I wasn't able to merge the code, so I had to lose some SBack code. As a result SBack acted the same way it does if you don't have the author wild...

By the way, my forum may offer you some interesting input about KUF. There's been quite a bit of discussion about it in our announcements, feedback, and polls forums. The reason it may be interesting, is because most of my members are 30+ years old, which makes for lots of people who are bad with co...

Okay. That's good to know. I was afraid something was messed up. I guess I wont worry about it so much.

Why is it that guests use so many more queries when their view is the same, except with less forums than for members?

Is the simple subforums mod to mod done yet?

Pretty close. I only have forums 14 guests may view, and 35 overall, but I do have lots of index mods, such as Last Visit, member quotes, style on index, etc. What's confusing is that guests are using 300 queries. It seems like members should be using the higher number. I thought perhaps this is bec...

Strange, uninstalling the mod to the mod didn't lower my sql queries at all. I've added some other mods since installing KUF, but I do still have my backup files. I'll wait until late night and try restoring them. 300 queries for how many guests? and 90 for how many users? I mean that it uses 300 or...

I just noticed that my index is using 300+ sql queries for guests and around 90 for logged in users. Does KUF use this many queries or is something else the culprit?

I followed the instructions carefully, but my desktop was trashed by the reg file in the server package. I no longer have any shortcuts on it, and I can't add new ones.
