Re: ACP Add User MOD

So I installed the MOD, but when I click on "Add Users" I get the error General Error. Module file ./../includes/acp/acp_add_user.php does not contain correct class [acp_add_user] I'm not very experienced with PHP - what can I do? I'm using phpBB 3.0.4 and the 1.0.0 version of this Mod. I purged th...

Re: ACP Add User MOD

Hello and thank you for pushing me on... I do not know whether it is because my board has so many other installed ACP mods or if the planets and stars were just 'that much' out of alignment. Perhaps someone else might benefit from this as well? After enabling the MOD as discussed, it still did not a...

Re: ACP Add User MOD

I have installed this mod several times using automod. I have purged the cache and checked to make sure that all of the updates took place. It appears that they have. I see no 'Add User' option available. What am I forgetting to do or doing incorrectly?

Thank you

Passing User Information to Secondary Application

Hello, I am trying to learn better use of PHP. Is it practical to pass registered user, moderator and Admin information directly from a logged in session on phpBB to another application? I am specifically trying to write a utility/Mod to do this with PhpOpenChat. The chat application already has bui...

Re: Adding Xat Chat to a Specific Forum

Hello, I know that many users install phpBB using script tools like 'Simple Scripts' or 'Fantastico Deluxe'. This does NOT prevent you from altering/modding your board. You will need FTP access but even most free service providers allow you this access. Simply use Filezilla or another FTP client and...

Re: [REQUEST] Shadow All to Global Category

I believe that this type of MOD could also be used for a 'Classified Advertising' board. It would allow readers to select a local region or a much larger category when searching for a specific item. I believe that this could be useful for people operating boards where users want the ability to read ...

[REQUEST] Shadow All to Global Category

Hello and thank you for your consideration. I am operating an Olympus board with multiple location categories. For this board these location categories are States within the United States. Each category contains identical sub-categories and forums within the sub-categories. This creates an identical...

Waiting to install

Hello, I am about to make a circular question and hope that it does not evoke the wrath of 'those all-powerful'. I will then follow-up with a statement of frustration that likely will irritate at least a few people. I have been waiting to make a clean install of PhpBB; as just about every third post...

IIRC, "it" is 2.2. the core for the portal will rely on 2.2 technologies. very basic development has begun behind the scenes and will be discussed in more detail and become more full-featured after 2.2 comes out. but for definitive answers, please as Jay. (look for the beady eyes) ;) If this projec...

A question about I/O controls using the NutPortal

Hello, I am attempting to 'install' a game on a pbpBB BBS using your NutPortal. (V-Sysop) The commands are passed in std i/o through Linux. Is it practical to think that this can be done? The goal is to eliminate the need for an old DOS Fossil driver that required Telnet for proper execution. Thank ...

Hello, I understand that you did not write the PHPMyChat software itself. This means that you did not write the instructions for using it. It would be very helpful if you would write a set of simple instructions for using the PHPMyChat software along with the instructions for adding your MOD. If thi...

Have ya tried looking around? http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=32328 I have indeed. That would be the item listed as "One" above. Aside from that, it appears that the developers of the MOD that you listed are about to come up with a way to make it work with 2.0.4. I need something that wi...

I suppose that something like this is better served in one of the true hacking forums out there. It appears that search engine listings are not of the highest priority here.

[REQ] Search Engine Spider Friendly MOD

Hello, The following two links bring up issues about the way that phpBB code can create a negative situation: One and Two . I have read that the latest versions of phpBB do not use 'cloaking' and I find this rather hard to believe. I have a solid and tested robots.txt file, but Google still refuses ...

C'mon now! Ptirhiik, Acyd Burn, and Nuttzy99 cannot possibly be the only MODders out there who could make this happen! Can they?
