The search word params was actually the second bug that I mentioned. It's probably stopping on you every time it runs into a topic that is being watched, due to the first bug that I mentioned. To make the changes, cd into the directory where the importer file is, copy the code (for the first section...

I would rename the old one to something like posting.php.old before uploading the new one. Then you can compare them side by side to see if you actually fixed anything by replacing it. It could have been just a one time occurence, unless you see this often. You've definitely determined that the prob...

my version is .0.5 it says :< I thought you said that your host installed 2.0.4? This just keeps getting worse. You're going to need lots of help. At this point, you probably want to post asking if some tech can come log into your site and help you for free, or whatever wages you are willing to pay...

But phpmyadmin's sole purpose is to make SQL queries. If you've used it at all, then you've already made SQL queries. You might want to start by clicking on the tab that says SQL. You can the type in queries there and click on the GO button to execute them. There's also this nifty link on the left t...

If you have phpmyadmin and you know the post number, then use phpmyadmin to do that query and post the results.

If you're using Lycos, right now I'm guessing that none of the email methods will work for you. :(

However, you'll probably still want to get a working copy of emailer.php, so that the from() function is at least found.

Go to the Administration Panel, then Management under User Admin. Enter the user's name and then at the bottom, use the "Click here to delete this user" checkbox.

I think the reason your board is running, is because Lycos doesn't require you to have a local copy of your board in order for the one that you have in your webspace with lycos to function. If you're still at 2.0.4 at lycos, and want to keep a local copy of what is on lycos, I wouldn't download 2.0....

Re: The problem is in 2.0.5, 2.0.4 runs good

Pintis wrote: bitserve, my problem is in 2.0.5 with lycos. 2.0.4 runs very good with no problems.

More than likely your diagnosis of it being a problem with the $to value was incorrect then. Sorry.

You'd reckon correctly. And thanks for overlooking my mistake. I accidentally said to post your phpbb_user_groups. :) And you actually have phpmyadmin access, so you should be able to run queries through that. :) DELETE FROM phpbb_groups WHERE group_id=0; However, your problem seems to stem from you...

From your Administratin Panel, go to Backup Database under General Admin and do a full backup (not compressed), and open the .sql file up in WordPad (not notepad), and post the section starting with: # TABLE: phpbb_user_group And ending with: # TABLE: phpbb_users Also ask your host what type of acce...

Version 2.0.5 has a sendmail_fix config parameter and function that might solve your problem. Upgrade to 2.0.5 and see if it fixes your problem. I believe that phpbb will automatically try using the sendmail_fix code if the regular sendmail code fails. It involves the $to variable being populated.

Okay, how large is large? And did it used to work?

You might need to post the URL so that someone can take a look at it.

Did you even run that query to verify if that was the problem? What were your results?

Is this a brand new install, or an upgrade? Was it working before? What changed between the time it was working and wasn't working?

Find the post_id, you can do this by clicking on the thread, and then moving your cursor over the "quote" icon, and looking at the URL in the status bar of your browser. It will be the # in "p=#". Then do an SQL query like this: SELECT post_edit_count FROM phpbb_posts WHERE post_id=#; If you want mo...
