yes, they are set to 777 for the cache folder

If I access my site through FTP & delete the files in the cache folder, I can get into the ACP for a few minutes. It kicks me out after about 10 minutes with the same message as before.

Nope, nothing changed. Still getting the same message.

Is there any way for me to find out how much memory my board is using? Is there anything that I can do to reduce the memory that my board needs to run properly?

The strange thing is that this is an intermittent problem. These errors usually last for 10 minutes give or take & then everything seems to be back to normal. I have no clue what is causing this mess but I am hopeful that somebody here can help me out.
