Re: Best update procedure for boards with no core code changes?

the point of the store folder is that in all of the extensions I have installed for myself and others, I have yet to find one that uses the store folder for any reason. https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/extension/digests_extension https://www.phpbbservices.com/2019/07/31/the-phpbb-file-structure/#...

Re: Best update procedure for boards with no core code changes?

Sorry, but I don't really see the point of your answer, among other as it's just general comments and you don't even look at the procedures in detail. You even indirectly admit you've not read the 2 phpBB procedures... the suggested method of updating /upgrading should be the same in the KB and in t...

Best update procedure for boards with no core code changes?

Hi, I've been looking for the best up-to-date procedure to update phpBB from 3.2.7 to 3.2.8 for a board with no core code changes but so far I'm not really satisfied with what I've found :| I found this procedure from the Support pages... https://www.phpbb.com/support/documents.php?mode=install&vers...

Re: prosilver: move the search box on the right side of the breadcrumbs row

Ok. I had a look and I just needed to add responsive-hide to the search-box class. I also tried the extension. It works fine but the result is not exactly like on the screen shot. The breadcrumbs/search box row becomes a bit higher while with my modification by hand, the result is exactly like on th...

Re: prosilver: move the search box on the right side of the breadcrumbs row

Thanks for the info! :) I'll have a look regarding how they manage the responsiveness. But this extension is only doing half of what I need: - it does not remove the blue headerbar - but indeed it does exactly what I did regarding the search box... https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/download/118241

Re: prosilver: move the search box on the right side of the breadcrumbs row

Found!
Just had to remove search-header in the search box class as well :P

It's now really clean and compact on a computer, but... still need to make it hidden on smartphones

prosilver: move the search box on the right side of the breadcrumbs row

Hi, For a board with prosilver 3.2.27 part of a website with already existing logo, menus, etc., I want to make the phpBB header lighter. So exactly like on the phpBB.com support forums, I've removed the headerbar (the div that includes logo, site description and search box). BUT... I want to keep t...

Where to put a php script called by an AJAX/Javascript?

Hi, I have a Javascript using AJAX in a HTML template that needs to call a "ajax_queries.php" file. Before phpBB 3.0.8 I used to put this "ajax_queries.php" file in the /includes/ directory, but since there's now a ".htaccess" file the Javascript can't get access to "ajax_queries.php" anymore. In yo...

I mean, which functionality is using cron.php, is to be tested?
Any direction to look at?
Thanks!

Re: bug generating URL for cron.php

https://github.com/phpbb/phpbb3/pull/126 is the fix. https://github.com/p/phpbb3/compare/develop...ticket%2F10046 was an intermediate proposal that was rejected. Ok thanks! I've applied the simple fix first. But I may apply the full fix as there's not so much more to do. Since we are talking about ...

Complete fix is these 4 commits?
https://github.com/phpbb/phpbb3/pull/126

Or these ones (given as the "proper" fix in the comments)? :)

Re: bug generating URL for cron.php

Ok thanks, I'll give it a try! :)
I have not tested this - use at your own risk.
But apart from the fact that it "may" not solve the issue, is there any other risk related to this proposal?
