Re: [RC] phpBB3 Social Network 0.6.2

You can also rename any page in phpBB to anything you want. That's what language files are for.

Re: [RC] phpBB3 Social Network 0.6.2

Shared server, and I LIKE all the features of SN, so... I doubt I can be helped. ;-) My host has offered me a VPS, but the cost won't be justified until this has become a really bad issue for me. I have shared host and have installed this mod the 2nd day it was released. I have had no problems. The...

Re: [RC] phpBB3 Social Network 0.6.2

That's a good question, *Dan. I think this just makes a lot of queries. There are ways to trim it a bit, I think, and they're doing a good job of trying to speed things up I think. I managed to get the menory use down by installing xcache on the server and that made a big different now it about 1.0...

Re: [RC] phpBB3 Social Network 0.6.2

Thanks AT. I have checked these things (I think). I'll check again, but wouldn't those fields be stopped from being posted in the default user profiles, using memberlist_view.html if they were set wrong?

As I said, I'll check again but I don't think that's it.

Re: [RC] phpBB3 Social Network 0.6.2

I'm having an interesting problem, and wonder if anybody else has encountered this... I am running with every module enabled except for the profile module. The info tab on my profiles is blank, and it should have all the custom profile fields in there. This block of code is from user_profile_tab_inf...

Re: Error with email notifications after sending mass pm

Seems lame that just sending the same message to only 600 members would take up so much memory. Is there a way I can set things up so it doesn't require so much?

Re: Memberlist problems

The normal procedure would be to download the code changes package, http://www.phpbb.com/downloads/olympus.php?update=1&version=3.0.9&code=1 , and update the style yourselves manually for more than one reason. First is that more style changes are required to bring your style up to the same level as...

Re: Can someone please tell me what "Force Reactivation" doe

Can someone please tell what force reactivation does. Also, does anyone know if there is another way to email inactive a...

Re: Memberlist problems

The style hasn't been updated yet. I had the same problem with my style. I borrowed the Prosilver memberlist_body.html from its template folder, and made edits to it to be compatible with my style, then put it in my style's folder.

Re: styles_template_data table WAY too big

LOL... Yes, it's fine now. That table just went down from 400 Mbytes to 150 Kbytes. I'm going to keep an eye on that thing now. Thank you!

Re: styles_template_data table WAY too big

Thanks for the assist, Dicky. Just making sure - if the styles_template_data table is empty, the site will still work, correct? And to answer your question, I do NOT use the ACP editor any more to update files. Thanks for the suggestion about that. I used to do that, for testing purposes, but I've a...
