Error after update

Looking for some help guy! Any advice you can offer would be great! I just finished an automatic update, copied over and verified the files and then tried to load up the forum. This is the message I got: Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Twig_Error_Syntax' with message 'Unknown tag name "elseif" in "...

Re: Slow page loads (eventually no page loads) after upgrade

Just an update in case someone else has this same issue. I seem to have fixed the issue. I was running Windows XP SP2 in my WAMP stack. I updated to SP3 and ran a few extra updates to make sure .NET was fully updated. That seemed to do the trick. So far - knock on wood - It has continued to run with...

Re: Slow page loads (eventually no page loads) after upgrade

Ok, I will turn my focus on the WAMP Stack. I know you guys don't offer support for that, but if anyone recognizes the issue and can offer advice, that would be great. If not, I understand.

Re: Slow page loads (eventually no page loads) after upgrade

When the page fails to load, I get the cannot connect to server, message. However, everything on the server seems to be running fine. Could there be an issue with the last update of the forum software, not playing nice with the newest versions of Apache, PHP and MySQL? (Not asking in an accusatory w...

Re: Slow page loads (eventually no page loads) after upgrade

Well, I seem to be no further ahead. When the pages are loading fine, there are no issues listed. When the pages suddenly stop loading, I can't access the page to see the errors. The forum stopped loading again, this morning. I connected to the server (with remote desktop) and it looks like everythi...

Re: Slow page loads (eventually no page loads) after upgrade

Ok, I ran it like that for an hour, refreshing the page every once and a while. So, far, no errors listed. Will update if I get a message I can post up.

Is there any other issues I could look into that are know to cause this type of problem?

User exceeded maximum login attempts, activating CAPTCHA

I seem to be having an issue where, when folks are coming to view the site, they are not staying logged in and instead are greeted with a "User exceeded maximum login attempts, activating CAPTCHA" message. After some searching, I found that this is happening to a lot of Admins using the PHPBB softwa...

Can't find page.

I'm looking for the page where folks enter their information, when they first sign up. The problem I'm having is, I use my own mail server and the good folks at Bell South have blocked all emails from me so, anyone signing up with a Bell South account, isn't getting the activation email. What I'd li...

Re: You exceeded the maximum allowed number of login attempt

I've been having the same problem. A lot of my members are getting frustrated. It seems like a lot of the attempts are coming from Germany.

Has anyone heard anything more about this or know of any way to stop it?

Facebook bot showing up as viewing "private" sub-forum

I noticed that the Facebook bot (I recently added the "like" button to my forum) has been showing up in my private, moderator's sub-forum. It is a hidden forum, only accessible to mods and admins. I checked the permissions for the bots in that forum and it is set to "no access". The Facebook bot is ...
