Re: Topic Text in Mouse Over

viewforum.php is definitely where my problem is. I would have to assume that the large sections of code are not the problem. Even though I have retried modding a new version of this file 3 times now, I would have to guess that I made the mistake. Step 3 $sql = 'SELECT t.* ' . $sql_select . ' Step 4 ...

Re: Topic Text in Mouse Over

Been searching through and seen this error before in this thread. It seems to be common in the viewforum.php as the cause. Table 'zombieforum.phpbb_topicst' doesn't exist [1146] SQL SELECT t.* , p.post_text AS first_text_hover FROM phpbb_topicst LEFT JOIN phpbb_posts p ON (p.post_id = t.topic_first_...

Re: Topic Text in Mouse Over

PLEASE ignore, I messed up the second edit in this file. Problem solved. Cool mod. The forum seems to be working well, except for in the forum list of topics. I think that is viewforum_body.html. Here is my edited line from viewforum_body.html <!-- IF not S_IS_BOT --><a href="{topicrow.U_LAST_POST}"...

Re: ReIMG Image Resizer

I just gotta give an additional thumbs up to this MOD. I completely rebuilt my site to gain more real estate for user posting images. At this point they can post anything under approximately 550px wide. That is great and all, but with the addition of this mod, they can post full size pics. All of th...

Re: Warning Reasons

Very cool mod idea. There are a couple problems here though.... In: mcp_warn.php there are two instances of this: // OK, they didn't submit a warning so lets build the page for them to do so The install file has you putting two different code additions below them. I would assume one goes under each,...

Re: Alert Box PM Notification [phpBB 3 version]

well, you could force popups for all your new users as per above or try this to do for all : http://www.ktuk.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=3677 Per that thread, I ran the following sql statement: UPDATE `phpBB3`.`phpbb_users` SET `user_notify_pm` = '0' After that I confirmed all users had been ch...

Re: IE6 No More

You are correct. However this is very strange. I highlighted the entire code to enter into this file and pasted it. (using notepad++). I just tried it again, same issue. So I downloaded the index.php that was on the site and here was what was in the file page_header($user->lang['INDEX']);// MOD: Beg...

Re: Force all users to "mark all as seen"

Well, what I am saying is this. I have converted a fireboard to phpbb3. Most of the users only where seeing one to two posts listed as "new" on the forum before I shut it down for the transfer. Now that the transfer is complete, wherever the database holds the "unread vs. read" posts is set so all p...

Re: IE6 No More

Because I am using the xencode page, I am not sure what results I should expect. This looks very similar to what you see when a mistake is made in the common.php file. Here is what I see: ie6nomore.jpg I was just reviewing the html code, and I dont see any reference to the root directory of the page...

Re: Alert Box PM Notification [phpBB 3 version]

Suggestion for this MOD. I love to change the message that comes to screen. It is fun to mess around with it. I have to think I am not the only person that does this. I think it would be very cool to add this ability to the "Private Message settings" screen in the ACP. That way it will modify common...

Force all users to "mark all as seen"

I am about to complete rebuilding a forum, as this is a live site, I have already done this on my dev site. One thing I noticed on the dev, is it marks all threads as new. What table holds this information for each user? I would like to make all threads seen so everything does not show the new post ...

Re: ReIMG Image Resizer

I think I made a mistake, although the line this error calls to is no where near the modifications to this file. The file is acp_board.php Error happens when I go to "post settings" screen in the acp. Error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in ...includes/acp/acp_board.php on line 835 Line...

Anyone shaved off stuff from the views of the stats? I run a page that has no care about 1/4 times or insurance premiums.

Thanks!
