Ahh, you are correct - both of those words are valid (when used in another context!) I hope you aren't too testy about my oversight and will accept my pleas for forgiveness. elspanko Actually it appears there is some bad words in the dictionary. :-( testy and pleas are in the dictionary. So the spel...

Hi Nathan, The spellcheck window shows up correctly but it appears to only check the first word. I entered "will yuo testy this pleas" and the only word highlighted was "yuo" - the message at the top of the window said "Scanned 5 words. Found 1 words to be corrected." After I corrected it the box in...

Hi Nathan, The first link below results in the same all black background. The remaining three show a white background with the divider between the text area would be and the controls on the right, but nothing else. Do you need a summary of the error messages which appear for each or all of these? Th...

Re: invalid characters

Hi Fost, Your advice was very helpful and using it we were able to get our RSS feed to validate OK at feedvalidator.org. Thanks for taking the time to research this so thoroughly and provide such extensive assistance! elspanko Is this because the apostrophe in the text cited in the error appears in ...

Re: Macintosh...

phpbb runs great on Mac OS X Server. Follow these simple directions to enable php from Apple's Knowledge Base. Starting MySQL is as simple as launching the MySQL Manager application and clicking the "start" button. Check out [SPAM] to see phpbb running under Mac OS X. elspanko I was wondering if any...

Re: This MOD works great

For Mac OS X users, I'd like to suggest the awesome NetNewsWire and it's freeware sibling, NetNewsWire Lite from Ranchero Software . In my book there's no better news aggregator for the Mac (requires Mac OS X 10.2 "Jaguar" and Safari 1.0). elspanko For people who want aggregators installed on their ...

This MOD works great

And my users love it - since installing it our overall forum traffic has increased from clickthroughs and about 5 percent of our apache server clients are now news aggregators. I recently added RSS/XML graphics at the bottom of our forum to publicize the availability of feeds via this MOD, linking t...

tested with 2.0.6?

Hi,

has this MOD been tested with PHPBB 2.0.6 which was just released? My users are so thrilled with RSS feeds I don't want to upgrade the forum until I am certain I won't break them,

Thanks,

elspanko
