Installed mod...everything looks great in ACP etc...I added a link etc... I cannot see the "redbar" anywhere on my forum...I am sure it is a style edit or something...and I am a total newb when it comes to editing styles etc....I have prosilver and my default template on my forum so I do all my test...

Well after some worrying....lol...I ran the install script...and voilla...it works just fine...I am sure I had something corrupted in t he database...as it was not updating it....sure wish I knew what it was to help other people in the future.... Anyway thanks for the great support here as usual.......

Sorry for stating that....yes I did "Copy to Site Text".. I have not used the installer...I usually just do things namually and have not had any problems before on any other MOD... I am woried about using it now(install script).....it could add multiple entries in my database could it not?? I am not...

Yes when I "try" to configure the announcement in the acp.....I choose everyone......but when I submit.....and go back and look at it its all gone....nothing in the editable fields that I just entered.... in the acp....and it never shows up on my forum either....the announcement box.... There we abo...

OK..I have read thru all 35 pages of this thread.....I am having the same problem as a few others.... I installed mod, edited all files, uploaded all files that were containedran sql thru phpmysdmin, I get no errors what so ever.... Iv'e added the module in the acp.....everything seems to be working...

choose module mode: "Manage Calendar Event Types". try this This may be a some of the problem....when I get to the step above......I don;t have the option to choose module mode: "Manage Calendar Event Types". when adding the Etypes module..... All I have to choose from is .... ACP_calendar_settings...

OK...I deleted the ones I presently had... I made a sub category under .MODS....named it Calendar....and then Installed the two calendar modules exactly like you said....and for what its worth that is exactly what I had before....cleared cache, refreshed styles etc.... As far as permissions that is ...

Those were the "moderator level" permissions you were looking at. That's what I was saying... you need to verify that your "admin level" permissions are set correctly. OK - I just wanted to double check, some users give themselves full user level calendar privileges but don't know that there are other levels like moderator and admin that they need to set as well.
